You're stranded on an island in the middle of an endless sea. There is enough wild life and safe plants to eat there so you've no need to worry about food. You get to have 3 things with you (people count as things). What do you decided to take? By the way, escape is impossible.
A computer (Let's assume it has electricity), an internet connection, and a jar of vaseline.

And the EU isn't predictable?

So did people here really believe that Ganondorf intentionally slows down lightning attacks with magic?
Not really. I don't believe SP ever actually showed me Ganon using a real lightning bolt in combat, and the energy bolt Ganon used earlier was not especially fast. Scream just clung to that point because it has the emotional impact of 'lol, thats dumb!'. Though it would still be a more logical conclusion than his own, even if I never actually argued it.
Personally I'd still say it was Ball Lightning. Or some miscellaneous magical attack, judging from the odd way that it sucks in light. However if ScreamPaste insists that its regular lightning then it must be a case of Infamous' shock grenades thing.
Depends on the EU. The majority of the EU I've read has been predictable only in the broad sense that "the protagonist will win the end, X character won't die because he's one of the core characters (I.E. Han Solo)."
On the other hand, I was guessing correctly what was going to happen which characters in the GG novels almost as soon as they were introduced, and I predicted the deuce ex machina solutions to most of the major problems fairly early on.

Why bring this up? I just want that topic to die already. >_>
