I don't like Mortal Kombat. And why would I wait for the sequel to a game I hadn't even heard of until a week ago?

After putting thought into it, Death Note is the better show. The characters from Code Geass are far more developed though.
The show honestly isn't that good. As I re-watched it there were multiple things that just plain annoyed me, like how all the awesome and awe-inspiring tactics Lelouch uses gets swept away for super-mech fight no32. Stupid mechs, gtfo! Its still one of my all-time favourite animes, probably in the top 5, but it is definately flawed.
But Lelouch is such an enjoyable character to watch throughout, is so likable and sympathetic, so badass and brilliant and the ending is so beautiful that he definately deserves to be my no1 guy.

Hmm. Death Note is much smarter and is some respects much better put together, but the problem with Death Note is that you really only have one likeable character in the form of L in the entire story and he
Spoiler:Unless you're in the vast minority like me and actually like villian protagonists enough to root for Light, this is a serious design flaw imo. I'd put the two series about equal. Gurren Lagann is better than both though imo.

I rather like Near. But yes, there really are only a few characters worth liking.
The whole world immediately went into world peace mode once Lelouch was killed. And "Damocles" no longer hangs. Preachy to me. 😛
