You've seen these characters somewhere before Street Fighter, Quan? If so, please share with me where.
Looking at this theres hardly anything different or original among them.. most could pass for brothers and sisters while the rest look too basic.

Off the top of my head characters I like more than any street fighter character.
3. I do. I like the plot of deception, deadly alliance, etc. The exploratory worlds were also fun. I mean they have created races such as the shokan and the tarkatan. They put quite a bit of emphasis into the mythology of this verse unlike street fighter.
4.Nah. He'd end up serving Quan Chi in the nether realm if he ended up in their verse. Good thing for him he doesn't ever have to face any of these elite fighters.
5.Ryu is more original than sub zero. He's just some martial artist who shares the same even special moves for the most part with ken as well.

Probably because, although some pieces are fairly interesting, it's largely irrelevant.

2.Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Goro, Kintaro, Onaga, Shinnok, Raiden, Fujin, Havok, Noob, Hotaru, Kano, etc.
3.Which street fighter games picked up the story. I played the second a few aplha's and the newest one. I beat it with bison but honestly need to pick it up again because I put it down very quickly after playing it a few times. I rented it a ways back before my reemergence into games. Street fighter 2 really didn't have a story while mk always did from what I remember. Not saying there haven't been plot progressions and some backdrop since my interest waned but I highly doubt it's to the extent mk has been going for quite some time.
4.Quan Chi is a far cooler character to boot. I also believe you were wrong about being more powerful that's why I corrected you. quan tricks gods so to me it'd be beneath his pay grade to even waste his time with akuma.
5.Not as original as say scorpion. He's also plain as day and I'd argue Raiden as being more original as a character than he as well. But really this is getting down to something purely subjective my initial point is street fighter has never held my interest as mk has. I don't even really care for fighters it's the story and characters of mk that has always made me love their games.

No, they don't. I mean virtually every character in mk has special abilities and powers but when you mention street fighter characters and ones with massive thighs it's really like original.
