I payed 40 pounds for a FF game I can't even play for a few weeks (if ever). You sir, can suck a chode. 😐

My only choices were 7, 8, 9 and Tactics. One of which I've never heard of, two of which can get bent, and the last of which I only knew existed because I can count, but outside of that I have heard nothing about it.

Final Fantasy 9 is one of the best games ever made imo. Seeeeeriously underappreciated gem. You really missed out.

And if I understand you correctly, you've never heard of Tactics? Lmaonade.

It's cliche, the Latin chanting feels forced, and the hype behind it has pretty much killed any enjoyment a lot of people can have for it. Not to mention the remix for Advent Children switching the dialogue from a being of godlike power to being a whiny momma's boy.

Tactics was a very good game, but it lacks a compelling protaganist. Ramza just wasn't all the cool of a dude.

What, why FF8 sucks? Well the fighting and equipment system is one of the worst systems in gaming history. The characters except for Squall and Seifer are completely 2-dimensional and get zero development at all. The plot is pants on head retarded come the last disk and is otherwise completely weak and uninteresting not to mention stupid, throughout except for Edea's awesome speech and badassery. It has probably the weakest worldbuilding of any FF game (dunno about 13) and it just all around sucks.

I still like it for Squall though. Dunno why. He makes me laugh.

And no, never heard of Tactics.

Wow. All I ever hear on the net is Tactics this and Tactics that. People treat it like the holy mother of all strategy games.

If you want to avoid annoying cliches Moo, then get FF Tactics out of those 4 choices.
