Nope. Despite being called Werewolves through the entire series, turns out they are shape shifters.

So that book I was reading that separated society into 5 different factions... I took time reading it because I haven't got much patience for unsubtly. That said...
Spoiler:
The Bad Guys are the Intelligent gais. Cause they're smart enough to realize they should be in charge. Not smart enough to come up with an actual good plan but smart enough to learn how to make mind control chips so they don't have to. The smartest thing they did was place a agent in the faction centered around Bravery. It was kind of cool.
Spoiler:
So apparently being Brave and Selfless is awesome. Being Smart means you're an dick. I would say that is an inaccurate portrayal but some of it rings true. The love interest is the worst part though.

I would be inclined to disagree. At a certain point, you cross the threshold of morality, the Moral Event Horizon, where someone has done something so reprehensible, they cannot be considered morally redeemable. While the US Government did give pardons to certain SS and Japanese scientists, that does not change the fact that they are evil, disgusting people (At least, the ones that are, I do not know if all among them personally committed such atrocious acts).
Now, the same is true for fictional characters.
Ganondorf cannot be redeemed. No one who can unironically call themselves the "King of Evil" can realistically look for redemption, and he has done several monstrous actions.
Krueger is similar, he is some ways past redemption... At least, when he is not a cartoon villain.
That Courage Punch was fvcking awesome.
Though, yeah, the last few episdes kinda suck (save for that spine-shattering scream Maka's japanese voice actress gives in the last one, holy ****). My advice: just read the manga from the final Black Star vs Mifune fight. That fight in the manga is one of the best evar, and the manga continues to be good from there on out.
Also, Spoiler: Manga Crona is fuuuuuuuuuuuucked up!

Courage Punch is ridiculous. Kid's death cannons powered by sanzu lines couldn't kill the Kishin but a punch can? That's PIS right there.
Guess I'll be checking the Manga version sometime in the future then. Btw, did you hear that music being played during the credits at the end? Oh god ๐

Eh, its not a thing meant to be taken entirely literally. She beat him by basically cancelling out 'Madness' with 'Courage'. Its more metaphorical. Which Asura basically was at that point: the anthropomothic personification of Madness. Also he pretty much freaked out and couldn't take Maka not being afraid.
Plus where she turns into a weapon was badass, as well as 'The sky is blue mother****er!'
Edit: Also, rewatching it, Christ does she hit him hard. His whole face ripples and her fist is just sinking into his face.

So with the awesomeness of Playstation Plus, I downloaded Medievil for free, a game which I recalled from my childhood but never played myself.
It's pretty awesome. mmm While the gameplay is obviously inferior to modern day, being from '97 ro so, and the platforming being kinda difficult to maneuver using directional buttons, the story and humor are solid, and the characters awesome thus far. The writing is really good and funny, it kind of reminds me of Overlord, in terms of being a sort of parody of the Fantasy genre. The setting and atmosphere is also pretty good, and the music thus far is great.
Stuff.
