And no, Revan is not particularly powerful, not compared to certain other SW characters, so him being beatable isn't a big deal.

Darth Malgus (the bald sith from the trailers) tells you to go kill him. You go kill him and you kill HK-47, then you go back and yell at Malgus for not telling you he sent you after freaking Revan.
Well not compared to Palpatine or Nihilus, guys who are literally Devourers of Worlds, but Revan is still in a very powerful Force-user.
