Are you on that moivecodec thingie site? Thrash 'em Moo, thrash 'em.

Wanted too, but didn't get the chance to play it. Though, those ''every action changes the story'' games bug me in that I'll always be curious as to what would happen, how a person or event will react and how it'll effect the ending. I was barely bothered to play the two sides of Infamous 2..

Edit: Downloaded the ACR Multiplayer Beta. Its a bit strange to get used to, and dunno it it (besides the obvious perks) is > ACB Multiplayer.

Well if you just wanna experience it...

(Dunno if that link'll work >_<๐Ÿ˜‰

I am not.

I'm trying to defeat him. But he's just as much of an idiot as some of the other people I've had to deal with. He's convinced Kratos is strong enough to hold up the entirety of planet Earth, that Hermes can be faster than light, and that Uncharted is one of the best games of the decade. This one and the last one, probably.

The list of dumb ideas of his goes on and on, but I have a life to live, so I can't list them all.

You should molest eat his unborn child.

The videos I've seen of it (can't play it, don't have PS3) show it to be the same base as ACB's multiplayer, but refined and improved upon. I don't like the UI, though ๐Ÿ˜›

Everything else was forgivable, but this...

There is no hope for a man so consumed by madness. Death is the only cure.

Guess some things I just miss from Botherhood. Like the new risk/reward stuns and reverse detection meter, feels as if its helping lower players and hindering the good ones. Or how the maps shown are all the size of Mont St-Michel and without any central areas. Makes it harder to set up and lure people.

May just be first day qualms :<

Whys that?

It just doesn't look good compared to the old one. It stands out too much.

I love the idea of honorable deaths. It's not rewarding poorer players and hindering the better ones; it's simply making a mechanic that was absolutely frustrating for everyone involved less annoying. You literally had a split-second of time to stun someone. You rarely see it going on in matches because it's just so damn difficult to get that timing right.

About the only time you could reliably stun your pursuer in ACB is if they were trying to poison you or get the Focus bonus, or if you muted them or used a smoke bomb, and even that wasn't guaranteed. I'm good at ACB and I'm lucky to get two or three stuns a match. Stun timing and the fact that kills always override a stun is something that's been complained about on the ACB forums from the very start.

So it helps everyone, including the better players, because only the very best are able to pull off stuns often. Now, so long as you hit the button within a certain time window (wider than it is for a stun itself), even if you get killed you get some points. Sure, I'll still yell at the game when it misses my stuns, but at least I'll get something out of my death ๐Ÿ˜›

I found stuns to be quite useful in ACB (4 average). Were great for the person who could manage to spot a player, not for someone who doesnt see them until they attack, which has changed here.

What about being able to stun NPC's? Its frustrating in Manhunt to watch one or two team players getting paranoid and punching every NPC in the area.. and not even ones that look like a pursuer ๐Ÿ˜ Same goes for the other modes. Before the honorable deaths most players didnt really use stun, now its all they do. Im seeing less stealth now that you can fight back against your attacker from good and meh players alike.

That and losing bonuses in a contested kill that took half a minute to build up makes a guy rage.. You'll have to be really stealthy to get a silent/incognito without getting stunned. In madeup numbers, I'd say a stealthy attack being stunned has increased from 10% times in ACB to 40% in ACR. This is why I feel its harder for better and/or stealth players.

I don't play Manhunt. I don't like team-based modes.

Honorable death is supposed to be for someone who sees their opponent coming and tries to stun them but the kill still hit first. It won't help the people who don't pay attention to their surroundings.

And heh. I don't see any reason to worry about that, really. If you're playing properly they're not going to get a contested kill. I get Silent/Incognito every kill in ACB (not joking - I don't play as defensively as GK does, but I've no problems with waiting for people to come to me and using crowds to hide, and I don't start chases). You should be playing stealthily to begin with.

Being stealthy is the point of the game, after all. Makes sense that if you make yourself obvious, you should be giving your target the chance to bitchslap you for it.

And on the other side, it gives you a bonus for being observant. Even if you're not in a position for a full stun, at least you get something for trying.

Out of curiosity, why?

They took my favourite character is Star Wars and did something very disrespectful to her.

Who? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Better question is "why this time?" ๐Ÿ˜›

Kreia.

Spoiler:
Apparantly she (or her force ghost anyway) ends up as some random Sith Lord's slave in The Old Republic era.

I'm a defensive-stealth type, but that doesnt help againsta trigger happy stunner hitting anyone that approaches them.

'It won't help the people who don't pay attention to their surroundings.' Would have believed this a few days ago, now I'm getting smacked even without anything suspicious just because they know someones near.
Most of all at those times where you pretty much have to break cover, change paths or make the closing short run.

Sho, after spending a 3pm-12am one day then on a broken net then 2 hours the next day I downloaded ACR. Yay. Find out its deleted today, including those 30 levels, and is taking around 3 hours to load again. ****ing internet.. playstation... universe ๐Ÿ™
