George was not the one time traveling, though. He thought it was going to be Marty in the car, so Biff being there instead actually screwed up the time travel plan. Heck, he was still scared of Biff, but he only fought back after Biff hit Lorraine. Marty's time travel plan failed as soon as he was locked in the trunk, George just needed the right situation. And then he kncked Biff's lights out.

So? I mean, really, that doesn't take away from the moment at all, so why does it matter? Had the same situation presented itself without time travel, the same thing would have happened. There's no point in trying to downplay it.

Well, Skyward Sword is supposed to be pre-OoT, and while Ganon doesn't appear in it, from what I read, it does touch on his origins. So it could fit nicely between FSA and OoT.

Yes, there's discrepancies, but with the creators saying SS is pre-OoT and will touch on Ganondorf without having him present, I'm willing to bet SS will patch into that little plothole beautifully.
Hmmm... My understanding was that Skyward Sword was the first Zelda released so far. Regardless, we shall see.

See, Ghirahim is no Zant. In that he is not cool enough of a guy to replace Ganondorf for a game.I'm not sure what Aura's punk self is asking me.
I guess I could find one of the essays I've written on why Ganondorf is my favorite character and post it. Assuming they still exist.
Zant was lame. But yes, Ganondorf is awesome. Especially how he was presented in Wind Waker.

Dude, you need to read the books. Voldemort is a far more fascinating character in the books than the caricature we get in the movies.
The Minish Cap being first does make a lot of sense, but a quote from Aonuma contradict it.
"I think we've talked with the media about this before, about Ocarina of Time being sort of the oldest story in the Zelda timeline, but, of course, in Ocarina of Time the Master Sword already exists, so it's obviously safe to say that this takes place before Ocarina of Time."
- Aonuma, Nintendo Power interview
One could argue he is only talking about the console games, but I doubt it.
Honestly, I just liked his character far more in the novels. I loved how he believed that Hogwarts was his birthright, enjoyed all the memories of his past, and the novels focus far more on his hypocritical racism which I did find fascinating. Furthermore, he was more intimidating like Neph said IMO.

Voldemort is kind of a moron ad isn't Thanos that guy who wants to **** a corpse? Lol.

I also think he's pretty damn intimidating in the movies. The entire world is scared of him and he easily puts Dumbledore on his ass with the elder wand. I love how crappy he treats Lucius with the My Lord stuff.

Due to the ever-present threat of translation errors, and the two constantly contradicting themselves and each other in interviews (I remember plenty of argument over TP because one interview said "a hundred years" and another said "hundreds of years"😉, I prefer to base timeline placement on the games themselves, and working from the games, the Four Sword saga makes sense before OoT.

Again, what is your point? "Time travel" does not inherently change George's reaction to the situation, nor does it magically make George punch Biff. It set up the situation that allowed the punch to occur, yes, but that was still entirely within George's control. He still could have backed down, he still could have run away. George was still afraid of Biff, and very well might have given up, had Biff not decided to hit Lorraine. That was the moment George stood up to Biff, and it was almost completely unrelated to Marty's actions.
Why are you roleplaying, again?

Aonuma isn't confirming anything about OoT being first there, though. He says they've talked about the media with it before, so that's the general audience opinion, but nowhere since TMC have Miyamoto or Aonuma ever definitively said "OoT is the first game." In fact, they make a point to never name a first game anymore, since later games can always chronologically come earlier.
It's true that at one point he did say he didn't want to say any of the games are first, but in the quote I provided (which came out after TMC) it's quite clear he is saying OoT is chronologically the first game.

Really, I don't see any other way to take this.

Fair enough.
