It'll be good no doubt, but I wouldn't go that far personally.

Nemesis just don't get it.

If he doesn't have the same experiences it's a different Dorf much in the same way Biff Tannen changes in back to the future. Experiences shape us and change us. You've got me on the verge really to put oot and give it one last shot.

Hmm... nah, not buying it. Especially when BttF's time travel contradicts itself multiple times.

I'd hug ya.

Nice timeline. Although I am wary of putting the FS games before OoT.

Out of curiosity, why?

Where out of curiousity?

Damn it. I love Back to the Future. Gonna have to watch it now. ^^

In 1, Marty starts to disappear when he causes his parents to never meet, signifying a paradox in which he was never born. Getting them together restores the timeline, with some changes.

In 2, Biff's shenanigans cause an alternate timeline to split off, but the original timeline is preserved in itself, just unreachable from the past. Following him to 1955 to undo his changes should cause a third, also different timeline, but... instead restores the original.

In 3, Marty and Doc's activities cause the timeline in which they already existed... while also changing the same timeline they caused.

So the paradoxes and causal loops are kind of all over the place. If you actually think about it, the trilogy falls apart.

So I decided to start reading Berserk.

Guts is a pretty cold and brutal mother****er.

Using a little girl as a hostage so that her demonified father will hesitate? Nucka is 'core.

Oh shit, I totally forgot to recommend manga.

Find Crossbone Gundam somehow. Is good.

1. Well they had a more time to work with there. It was only required for his parents to fall in love at the dance. Only when it looked like they weren't planning on falling in love did it really start to affect him.

2. Indeed. But I don't see much of a problem with this one though. Marty's actions in the past in the first movie also created a small alternate timeline. Just this one was a positive change so why change it?

3. Actually their actions in 1885 really had no effect on the old one because what kind of effect would they have? They just changed a tombstone in 1955, changed the name of a canyon, and got Bulldog arrested. Changes but some you wouldn't expect to see.

I don't see much of a problem given the series rules about time travel. The only thing that really would have ****ed up the timeline was in 2. Marty accidently preventing Marty from getting to the timemachine really would have screwed up things.

What aren't you buying ? Maybe bttf just had bad writers I mean time travel does complicate things but my point about experiences shaping and changing a person is pretty ironclad. But I respect difference of opinion if everyone agreed with me (which they should) debating would suck.

It was a classic and awesome trilogy but it's been a while since I have seen it and there might be errors in the alternate timelines. I can't recall any at the moment but I'd need to rewatch them all again to be sure.

Ps. Shut it biff tannen.

Time travel is fictional. Meaning whatever rules a Universe that has time travel(I.e DBZ), those are the rules of time travel.

You were Biff butthead. I was Marty. Scenario was George. Scream was Lorraine.

Oh yeah you need time travel to stop me from picking on your weak family.

Hard to make Ganon work. He goes from being a Gerudo Exile in FSA to their beloved king in OoT. Also the King of Hyrule trusts him which doesn't make sense if he were evil prior to the game. Furthermore, there is no mention of Ganon being sealed prior to OoT.

BOOBS.

edit:

Is this Ash? I guess he really wants to be the best.

You needed a time machine to grow a pair.

Meh. Hit and miss.

I just picked a few from the thread....

Edit: HEY Q99! I SEEEEEE YOU!
