Uhhh. The new AC is not $40. It's $60.And it's 100% worth getting. It's way better than Brotherhood, and it's generally getting very good reviews. The only complaints I've seen is that some people don't like Den Defense (which you don't have to bother with at all so long as you keep your notoriety relatively low).
The one they sold at Gamestop with the flying machine, and the other DLC was $60.

A friend of mine got it at Walmart the other day for $40, and it came with The Armor of Brutus. The one they sold at Gamestop with the flying machine, and the other DLC was $60.
Walmart always randomly puts things on sale, especially in the first week of release. That means absolutely nothing. One of my friends got it there the night of release for that price. It's simply Walmart being Walmart and trying to undercut everyone else.
The version with the flying machine was not available in stores; it was online-only. And the game itself (with the bonus DLC, which is an initial allocation-only thing) is $60 at Gamestop, or have you forgotten where I work? 😛

Been hearing today that Obama was planning to veto the bill, so they prolly still won't get anywhere with it. The only ones that actually accept/support it are pawns of the whole system and hobos.
Yeah, he's been stating that if Congress passes it, he's going to veto it. Which is a good thing. That bill is such a cluster**** for so many reasons.

Perhaps what I find even worse than the bill itself, is that they try to go and do something like this in the middle of what's one of the worst economic crisises the US has had in many years.. Shame on them.

Indeed. It violates a lot of things. Even with him vetoing the bill though, we can still only hope that (correct me if I'm wrong) it gets less than 2/3 of the votes from both Senate and House for it to be passed... Somewhat clever in execution, though. Most people will be too concerned about ensuring their economic stability to really care about what's going through congress, unless of course it involves variables to ensuring said stability.
