All of the games, mostly due to the sync variations, made you pretty beastly. Especially near end game where nothing would pose a challenge side for the few tough bosses. Think I preferred BN6 because of the beast power-up and how hax it was >-> Barely remember anything from 2-5...Is there gonna be a third part to Geass?
Indeed. But not that powerful. Well, arguably 5 did with Chaos Unison allowing you to spam darkchips over and over again. It was so broken I can't believe the game itself didn't just snap.
1 was very obviously a beta. The gameplay was leagues slower than the later game so in general it was inferior. Not as bad as 4, god no, but second to worst. But still, the series was in it's infancy. So it's okay.
2 was when the series picked up its pace. The fighting was faster, the story more series, and the content was given a much needed boost. Some could make the argument that 2 is the best because of the vast improvement but I don't personally. 3rd best for me.
3 was the golden age of the series for me. The threats, both in gameplay and during the story, were much higher this time around and the scope of the game got bigger and bigger until you end up fighting the ****ing Internet! And then there was the tragic ending...
4 was a piece of ****ing shit. The only thing that salvaged this game was the gameplay, which is always fast and strategic. Here though, it is given Full Synchro, which takes a lot of the difficulty. And Double Soul, which is nifty. And the Dark chips, dumb they might have been, made a very subtle moral choice system. Still, garbage writing. Even by the series standards.
5 was a breath of fresh air. The ability to control new navis and the liberation missions did bring a new change of pace and was very welcome, even if the liberation missions do seem stupid at first. The scope is back and better(which is a testament to how shitty 4 was. The entire world was in danger in that game but it didn't even attempt to make me care). Still, it got really damn silly and the mechanics were broken.
6 was the Swan Song of the series. Great writing all around and it was above all fun. The only weaknesses it had were scope(the Cyberbeasts are nothing before Alpha) and the ease. Still, great game.
And yes, there will be . ๐
