Finally got through Season 1 of Geass.
I'll never understand why people see Lelouch chasing after Nunally as some grand betrayal. The Black Knights were curbstomping Britannia. Its not Lelouch's fault his followers are ****ing incompetent boobs.

Just because they were winning doesn't mean him leaving wasn't a pretty big deal. Granted, why Kallen never explained to them "He really did have something important to do" is beyond me. Then again, the Black Knights have the collective intelligence of Mordecai and Rigby. Sans Kallen apparently.

I'm not saying it was nothing, but he hardly 'betrayed' them or anything. Judging what he said to Suzaku (I'm the guy who's about to take over the world) I think he thought they could win without him, or at least hold out. And Kallen isn't even that smart! If you look at Lelouch's Competence Chart apparantly she's dumber than everyone but Tamaki. Its just that she actually has some goddamn common sense unlike the rest of them. Its like her and Suzaku are the only worthwhile Japanese in the series (other than Kaguya-sama <3).
He never should have been given even a modicum of command. The dude has no leadership skills and I'm pretty sure he never makes a single good decision in the entire series. Which makes it all the more baffling that he become Prime Minister of Japan at the end. Lolwut? Also he betrayed Zero by trying to find out his identity and not handing over his hoe, on top of being simply incompetent and, well, you know, what he does in season 2 (Dumbest. Decision. Ever.).
And yeah, thinking only with his dick on the subject of Villeta just makes him much worse. What a useless douchebag.

I can't recall any off the top of my head. Well, he did decide to follow Zero initially. And yeah....that. I had my rant on Ohgi a while ago and I don't want to get started again. He is just incredibly stupid. Worse to me than Ikkaku, and that is ****ing saying something.
Which is weird for me. When her hair is down, Villeta looks alright. When its up she just seems really trashy and sticky looking. I don't see the appeal.
Ohgi saw her naked though so I guess it makes sense. She still ****ing shot him though.

Really, there isn't much to say about her. She is dumb and more than a little racist. But she at least ended up helping Lelouch in the end, which is more than can be said for Ohgi.
Though, I have to love her reaction to her nuke going off: "Wuhhhhh!? It killed a lot of people!? I didn't think it would do that!"
Though I blame Suzaku for keeping the thing on there to being with.

Suzaku was my most hated character ever for 2 full watchings. I've cooled to him now. He's still an insufferable, self-righteous prick but I guess he's ok. ¬_¬

Suzaku got his comeuppance at least. Granted...the logical step would have been for him to marry Nunally and I could see it but he still has to be Zero forever.
But I never hated him.
In fact, I don't really recall many of the characters that I liked either. Kallen though that might be unfair to the less beautiful cast of characters. And...Jeremiah because I felt bad for him and I was glad to see his growth. Lelouch is a rather mixed bag for me.
Code Geass as far as writing goes just feels inferior to Death Note.
