Edit: **** Dynasty Wars, how the **** could anyone justify buying multiple games from that ****ing series?

The only reason I didn't say this is because he made it pretty clear he hasn't played any yet. If he feels he must play, then the latest will suffice.

(It's still no Dynasty Warriors Gundam though)

KND and Ed, Edd, n Eddy are boss.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy was stupid.

Yes it was meant to be stupid, but just because something was meant to be crap does not forgive it being crap.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy has its moments. But they're pretty few and far between. It plays too much off of sheer idiocy to be truly funny.

The other two...just, no.

I was giving my opinion on it.

To elaborate, no, I would not recommend it DP.

The different weapons and fighting styles are largely superficial, every character plays and handles the same way, and I honestly find the combat to be very clunky, repetitive, and boring. The series is liek Drakengard, but without all the things that made up Drakengard's mediocre gameplay (Aka story, characters, the world's greatest anti-child team).

Granted, it is a step up from Dynasty Warriors 6, which was an abomination.

Edit: KND had some good moments, though unfortunately the series was never really as good as Father's first appearance, every appearance of his after was bombarded with massive Villain Decay. The movie was also pretty good.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy I will admit gets by on nostalgia to a great extent for me, I was a little mother****er when it came out and used to watch it all the time. The movie, however, was great, IMHO, the writing was demonstratably far superior to anything the show had shown before, and it created one of CN's most genuinely unnerving and evil villains.

Indeed. And they're better shows from what I've seen compared to MLP.

Edit: Indeed, Father did go through villain decay. But this is made up for by the fact that the later seasons go out of the way to give us more developed villains. None of them had the edge that early Father had but were certainly fun to watch. No KND villain was better than Grandfather though.

The movie was great. Really was the culmination of the whole series and made me glad the Ed's were childhood friends of mine. *sniffs*

You'd be wrong.

Well, maybe not when speaking of Phineas and Ferb, since I have not seen it.

But you're frankly fooling yourself if you believe Ed, Edd, and Eddy and KND have better writing and characters.

This is not an opinion.

This is a fact.

KND sucked.

Ed Edd and Eddy was god tier.

Phineas & Ferb...can't be arsed to watch it so dunno.

KND is the nostalgia-favored one for me, plus my love of parody helps a lot.

My siblings watch Phineas & Ferb, and while it seems pretty harmless and a damn sight better than most of the other crap on the Disney channel, I don't see the appeal.

The Eds never appealed to me at all.

It seems to me like there's a particular brand of cartoon, which I term idiocy-based humor, that is extremely popular but which I simply cannot stand. Examples: Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Ren and Stimpy, Catdog, Rocko's Modern Life, Spongebob, Flapjack, Regular Show.

I do not understand the appeal, but several friends will attack me for my dislike, insisting that I am somehow missing some sort of subtle brilliant subtext to each that is the key to idiot-cartoon enlightenment.

Is it just drugs?

Honestly the art style keeps me from Phinea and Ferb. I find it kind of unappealing.

I think there are some good KND episodes out there, but, eh... Now that I am older I see some wasted potential that I didn't before.

See, Rocko and Catdog are the nostalgia ones for me 😛

Then the first episodes failed to prove me wrong.

PF get by on a rather shallow reason: Better music. But it also has a few nice themes that I genuinely like compared to MLP. Which is not to say MLP is bad, just not really something I could see myself liking over PF.

Again, have never seen anything to the contrary. For instance: I don't know why these ponies are willing to go so far for one another. I don't know why they appeal to people when the ponies themselves aren't very interesting. You can predict every single action of every single pony in your sleep, with the *possible* exception of Rarity, who would probably be my favorite of the ponies. They aren't bad. But they also aren't interesting. And I don't know why they're friends.

Though to be completely fair, I've just watched the first 2 episodes. I don't plan to watch more because it doesn't interest me but hey, I'm no expert.

Seconding this.

Phineas and Ferb I find tolerable if only for the platypus and Dr. unspellable. The rest range from alright to pretty good when I was younger.

When you were younger?

That show isn't even old! 0.o

Granted, it probably should have ended after they traveled around the world in one day. I hate it when series don't know when to end. Like how KND continued after the movie. Though to be fair, the ending we got wasn't terrible.

I can't say that I was ever much for cartoons, but damn the X-Men cartoon from the 1990s was goddamn awesome. I rather recently rewatched the whole thing and was pleasantly surprised that it mostly stood up to the nostalgia.

Pony predictability was a complaint I had early on. Some episodes are pretty by the book plotwise. And then we all learn a valuable lesson. mmm That's meh for me.

But theeennn, I saw the other side to the show. mmm The side with the small details like this:

And the moments like this:

And unexpectedly well done scenes like this:

She was mine at first, too.

And then she bounced and squee'd and gasped and batshit insanity'd her way into my heart. Now I have no least favourite pony.

My list is:

Rainbow Pony

Everypony else, with AppleJack and Rarity wrestling for dominance.
