Yay finished the two recommended episodes. My opinion has not changed. But I did actually like the second episode.

Secret of my Excess was the weaker of the two and I suspect it was suggested because CC lieks Spike. I guess the moral of the story isn't harmful and it's kind of sweet. But he effectively trashed the town and wasn't punished for it. But all in all it was okay.

Suited for Success was better. It pretty much cemented Rarity as my favorite pony and its nice that it was able to pull a trick with the moral, making it not what I think it was going to be. Granted, it's not without it's flaws, the biggest of which is "Why would ponies need to wear a dress when they're content to go naked the rest of the time?" Which made her friends criticizing her dresses all the more annoying. Ungrateful *****es. Yeah they learn their lesson at the end but **** they annoyed me in this episode.

So yeah. I think I'll bump it up to a 3 out of 5, but that's about it. I do not think it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. But I do in general agree with the critical reaction.
