Well, the Rescue the Kazekage arc was awesome for several reasons. One of them was Sakura, who did a 180 compared to her character before hand. She's one of the few characters who said "I want to be stronger" and then actually become far far stronger than she was. Sure, she's a bit out of focus but I don't really like characters that feel like they are everywhere. But she's still done some pretty cool things compared to the girls her age and I actually sympathize her.

So yeah.

Sakura is a better character than Hinata, objectively.

From a relative standpoint, Hinata only has redeeming qualities if you're a member of the hopeless romantic "forever alone" crowd.
