My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a show popularized on the internet, due to the fact that males are watching(and seemingly enjoying) a show that was targeted towards small girls. Those males are called Bronies.

Same here. I found out about it through the banners and some guys avatars on SomethingAwful. I thought it was probably some parody show or something on the internet. Very surprised to find out it was freaking My Little Pony, I tell you. It was only after I got curious and actually watched a few episodes that I discovered it was actually good.
