If this is true, one has to wonder how you're supposed to make a sequel of a man who seeks revenge upon the Gods of Olympus when he's already killed the Gods of Olympus and pretty much everything else in Greek Mythology. I can only guess that another prequel's being planned or maybe Santa Monica Studio will do something different like maybe GoW4 isn't really GoW4 but it will be a GoW game but instead of Greek, the game will be about Norse Mythology. You never know.

Took this from another site, sum up of the interview;
-Jaffe would have had Kratos kill Zeus in the first 5 mins
-All the other Mythologies come in to fill the void, Norse, Egyptian, etc.
-Kratos gets them to fight against each other
-The sphynx actually was a boss monster that Kratos froze with Medusa's head
-With all the gods fighting the people move on and stop believing in them giving Kratos the ability to kill them
-Kratos slits his wrists with sixaxis and goes to live with his family in Hades
-The game would have ended with three wisemen following the north star ie: the birth of the religions of today, but not just Christianity
There are rumors that Jaffe will be working with Stig on this game, so some of these ideas may be lifted.
