Well yeah, I know you can get a decent computer under a grand, but with the stuff I'm getting (and I'm not even going terribly high end) you're looking at about that, minimum.

And you're going to wind up paying for the OS either way, so I don't see the big deal in it.

These two PCs I've linked are about as powerful, if not more so, than the one you're building though.

Well, you can install your own non-OEM OS(like I did).

Oi.

Stop that.

Internet piracy. A very mundane and an unexciting topic.

Once again Yahtzee just skims over an entire subject and makes a half assed effort to analyze things just like what he did with the Warhammer and its fans. I didn't even play the game(nor have the desire to buy it because rather play a much supererior game , MP3) but understand why the fans hate it. The only thing I can agree on is Shepard's character being dry and clitched skywalker must save the galaxy type.

Its amazing how noone seems to understand the criticisms of the ending. Practically every critic or reviewer except ****ing Angry Joe of all people are bitching about the reaction to the fanbase and acting like condescending jackasses while simultaneously missing the point. I could give a damn about multiple endings, but when somethings that illogical and full of holes I am going to point that out. Especially given the promises made before launch about how awesome the ending was going to be.

"In the end...it doesn't matter how long we lived, but how fully we lived...The good we've done, the friends we've made...the love we shared along the way."

....So sad.

To be fair, their are lots of people taking the disappointment about the ending way too far which is why it gets so much flak. Because the annoyingly loud majority doing stupid stuff for it and acting like babies overshadow the well made arguments and requests many have.

The game is amazing up to the ending. It deserves heavy praise.

I can agree to that. But then, most fanbases are stupid most of the time. Also, BioWare has stated that their fans are equal creators in the story along with their actual writing staff.

Yeah, that's complete bullshit that they spout just to make the fans feel like they actually matter as something other than a source of money. For legal reasons they cannot take any suggestions or ideas from outside of their own staff, otherwise it opens themselves up for a whole slew of lawsuits, so no, fans are not "equal creators".

Also, why is anyone shocked that Bioware screwed up an ending? They've always sucked at those.

I does sound like a bunch of bull, yes. But when you say that kind of stuff you can't be surprised people are going to listen. Also when you promise that your ending won't be disappointing and leave a lot of unanswered questions like Lost, and then your ending does exactly that, you shouldn't be surprised at some backlash. Basically Bioware made their own graves here with promises they failed to deliver on. In terms of the ending. The rest of the game is outstanding.

Meh, I liked Kotor and Jade Empires endings. Jade Empires in particular rocked. The main villain was awesome, the fight was cool, and there were a ton of different outcomes depending on your choices. You can even let the big bad kill you! How cool is that!? Mass Effects 1+2 don't really count because they weren't really 'endings', but they weren't that bad. Dragon age was good too imo with a good final boss. Baldurs Gates 1+2+TOB had fine endings as well.

Jade empire was the only bioware ending I consider good. Dragon age was ok

It depends what we mean by ending. The Suicide Mission in Mass Effect 2 was genius imo. But the last choice wasn't that interesting and we see in ME3 that it really isn't that important (I think?). And I really like Kotors ending. Fight through the Star Forge, deal with Bastila, climatic lightsaber fight with Malak and then either become a hero and get a medal in a homage to ANH or become the Dark Lord again. Epic ending.

Well they have awesome climaxes, I was more so talking about the ending, like mass effects 3 final situation and conclusion and not the mission around it. (i thought the mission in 3 was awesome up till the ending)

I thought the ending of Dragon Age was great; they just ****ed it up with the DLC.

Dragon Age's ending was ruined by Awakenings for me.

I will never forgive Bioware for making me pay 50 (I think) dollars for that piece of shit.
