Toph's daughter is awesome...though that brings the question how the heck did Toph have a daughter?

Young Justice was also cool and Ms.Martian mind-raping the aliens is funny.

Aww man I missed Thunderkatts but I think I'm one of the few people that watches the Green Lantern cartoon; it's grown on me.

Oh yeah and congrats to the mods.

Obviously Toph knocked up some chick we havn't met yet. Or maybe we have. TophxAzula 4ever!

Well, how Toph had a daughter is actually the same as any other girl I suppose.

Katara: "Oh Toph she's so beautiful!"
Toph: "Wouldn't know!" ^_^

The episode was cool for the action and the reveal of Tenzin's ex. And of course Amon is always awesome. But the people of Republic City are just really, really, really stupid lol.

I have to say that I agree with Korra and Lin that shutting down the stadium would be a mistake. If Amon can just announce on the radio that he wants to shut something down and the Council lacks the spine to stand up to him then the situation will escalate naturally as then he knows he can get away with his demands. What happens when he decides he dislikes Waterbender hospitals? You can't just ignore him and expect him to go away. The Councils being a bunch of pussies.

And when they didn't cancel the game, their bravery cost the bending powers of 3 civilians, albeit douchebags. They wouldn't be running away from him, they'd just not fight Amon on his own terms. The way the task force was working seemed far more effective and was actually doing damage to Amon's forces. All this situation did was make the benders look incompetent and overconfident, which makes Amon look really good.

It was the right call. That it didn't work out doesn't change that.

Except it really wasn't the right call at all. It appears to be the right call but, as the episode showed, it was the worst call they could have made.

In your opinion. Amon was very clever here in that either choice makes him win (unless he gets captured). If they back down then it leads to what I said. He's just choose another target and waits for them to eventually oppose him before doing the exact same thing we saw him just do. And yes, they would be running from him, or at least you can bet thats how he'd spin it, and thats how the public would see it after he brags on the radio again.

You're thinking of the public opinion and that's important. But more depth is needed. Essentially, Amon asked them to cancel a football game. The whole "I don't negotiate with terrorists" is fine but it's not like he is picking something like, to use your example, a bending hospital. Why does he pick something small though, in the grand scheme of things?

Because he knows that Prob-Bending is popular and his success can be heard across the city. This can't happen if they don't fight him. His chance for success is denied momentarily. And what's more, it's also a perfect defense. Why? Well what can Amon do except try to make it look like he scared them? Nothing. And Amon cannot spin things that way. Korra flat out challenged Amon to a fight and since she still has her bending, it looks to the average citizen like Amon backed down. He can't say that the council are a bunch of cowards when the public has seen 1. That a taskforce exists to deal with Amon and 2. Amon chose not to fight Korra. What looks like a moment of weakness for the council is a opportune moment for someone like Tarrlock to point out, "We were not about to risk the audience and players of the game just to look brave. We were trying to protect people. But you Amon? You're the coward here. The Avatar challenged you to a fight and you declined it. Was it perhaps not as public as you would have liked? Or are you really just that scared of this young woman?" Sure, we the viewers at home know how it really went but can Amon spin it that way without being forced into a position that leaves him at the whims of Tarrlock? Amon can say that he dealt with the Avatar and chose to spare her and Korra can say "You're a liar, why would you spar me? I'm the beacon of the bending world!" The people of Republic city doesn't know how that scene played out after all and it clearly puts a kink in his plans.

Oh, and Amon would never, EVER, attack a bending hospital. He cannot show the good side of bending. He has to show the bad and focus on it. He doesn't take the bending away from good benders. He takes it away from thugs and cheaters. The ones who abuse their power. It makes him look like the real hero. Attacking a hospital wouldn't do that.

I hate Delphine so much

Yes people who are not married and simply dating still can have and celebrate their anniversary of when they started going out ๐Ÿ˜›

Thanks guys ๐Ÿ˜Š

Extramarital relationships are sinful.

There's no such thing as sin.

Oh yeah.

I'm not religious. I don't believe in that whole concept at all ๐Ÿ˜›

Neither do I.

Or you all do, but because of all your sins you choose not to to believe due to extreme fear ermmtouched
