Woohoo, official off-topic thread!

Gears of war.

Sad to say, cause one and two (one especially) are some of my favorite games ever. But three was lame and four looks terrible. GoW is no longer a killer app. It needs to just disappear.

Call of Duty

MW was great. 2 was fun, but too gimmicky, three is a tired game with a tired formula and no soul. Franchise needs to die. Treyarch needs to ditch COD and just do Nazi Zombies full time.

Kingdom Hearts

Not the whole franchise, but Sora and the gang's story ended in KH2- I don't care what anyone says. They need to find a new permenant protagonist, or retire the series.

Warhammer 40K.

Well, KH2 did have a sequel hook so I disagree that it ended completely in II. What I can say is when Xehanort, the ultimate foil to Sora, is put down, then they really need to get a new guy. Because they apparently do have plans beyond Xehanort.

Then again, Sora is the Christ equivalent in the game so I'm not sure how they would replace him so easily. mmm

Lol, never going to happen. Even if Games Workshop went under, which I certainly hope happens, someone will just snatch the IP, too many neckbeards in love with the setting.

Now, Warhammer Fantasy, on the other hand, which is completely inferior and will never be as awesome as 40k. biscuits

If anyone seriously considers Adventure Time a 'kid's show' anymore I'll eat my hat. Not that I own a hat.

Hence the quotes, but I wouldn't put it past the usual 'Cartoons are for kids' mentality. I don't actually know how common that is, though.

Coincidentally I just watched some Black Dynamite. No way is that cartoon for kids. I think we're moving away from that view. There's a fair few cartoons that are targeted or watched by adults.

Never seen a cartoon in this era did that and get away with it. Cartoon network is getting very laxed first with this and in the latest Regular show episode where they showed the villians geting shot up with guns and brutally murdered.
