Your mother

poop

Either Neme's been hacked or he's gone mad with animal lust for poop.

poop

I guess he could also just be drunk.

It's alwasy been a well known fact that NemeBro is a fecal fiend. That boy lives for shit on his dick.

I was having computer troubles, particularly with posting on this site and shit. Those were tests.

I seem to have fixed the issues.

Fecal. Fiend.

I feel bad for Okami and all but I'm more pissed we may never see another Eternal Darkness. Silicon Knights just had to try and sue Epic Games.

So I got an extra £560 that I forgot I was owed from my Christmas job and I figured I would buy a PC. My laptop is completely fvcked at the moment in terms of gaming seeing as I was unable to play freaking Neverwinter Nights 2 yesterday without it shutting down after 10 minutes. And all the laptops I've gotton have developed problems about a year into owning them so I figure I'll go for something more durable.

So I'm asking for some advice on what exactly to get. I'm not going to put it together myself because I'm nowhere near confident or competent for that. So I looked around and found this. The comments all tell me that it can play the games I can't play at the moment on maximum settings and its perfect for my budget. I got sent to the page by searching for a PC that could comfortably play SWTOR, the most graphics intensive game I own and want to play and it seems like it could easily play that so great. I also looked at this one but the other one seems like it would be better?

For monitors I'm thinking this since it looks like a pretty good one and I can get it half price on Amazon Prime.

I'm no good with computer know-how, so if you guys could tell me if I'm making a mistake just let me know. 🙂

None of those PCs seem to have a dedicated GPU. This is bad if you want to game. Very bad. They're pretty good otherwise(though it doesn't seem to say how much RAM the "Titan 8000a Krypt" has. It better be 8GB). The monitor seems just fine as well, though I'd personally go for a Samsung with a similar price.

EDIT: Oh yeah, get a HD 7850 or a GTX 660 for a GPU. Should be quite sufficient for your needs.

IMO you're naïve if you believe a 500 or less dollar computer will be able to play contemporary games on max settings, lol.

Pretty much. You need at least a 1gb card (dedicated) to play anything recent on impressive settings.

The prices are in GBP, not dollars. Also, those computers he linked have crappy integrated graphics chips.

It's true though, 500 dollars won't cut it, but 500 GBP might. Barely.

You'd be pushing it, tbh. And you won't get max settings for 500 pounds in most cases.

No, you probably won't. Though it depends on the game, the resolution you're playing on, and the amount of FPS you find satisfactory. And from what I understand, Neph has fairly modest needs anyway. A PC like that with a 660 GTX should be able to run most games very decently.

I am terribly naive about computers and don't know shit about dedicated GPU's or different makes or anything.

I don't care about max settings at all, its just that some of the comments mentioned they could handle max settings so I thought that was neat. I'd be fine with medium or low, as long as I can play the game without it going berserk or slowly killing the PC.

It says 6 GB's for the hard drive if thats what you mean? But it sounds like the lack of a dedicated GPU is a big deal. Do you know any PC with that thats good for my budget?

You mean those things that add about £120-250 on to the cost? Yeah, I definitely don't care about max settings that much.

if you could get a pc for 500 pounds with a 660, i'd be surprised, though with how cheap computers are nowadays, not as much as i would usually be.

medium is as good as most console settings, so it's more than playable.

My recommendation for a "mid spec" computer would be the following:

1gb graphics card (dedicated, so no intel. get nvidia or amd)
4gb ram at least
i5 quad core processor

Those three are the main ones, imo.

You might be able to find one within your price range depending on where you live.
