1000 dollars, boom.

SLower video card and half the ram, but about 200 bucks cheaper, and still capable of playing basically anything on all da settings.

GT 630 is a pile of shit. And so is the HD 7570.

This guy.

It's no GTX6, but'cmon. It'll get the job done.

I really don't know shit about video cards though, my weakest link hardware-wise.

They're both pretty damn low-end. The 7750 or the 7770 would serve Neph better.

is it really that bad? Damn son, I feel archaic.

I'm using a GTS450 that I bought a few years back- haven't run into a game that I can't play yet, though.

What's wrong with the 630?

It's weak. Especially when compared to the rest of the setup Blax posted. Very good CPU, lots of RAM, shit GPU.

So I'm thinking of going for either the Titan with Windows 7 and the £66 graphics card + this Acer monitor or the Advent + monitor. The latter is £50 more expensive but seems to have more RAM and is probably a bit better.

Any thoughts on which?

Oh, the GT 630. Sorry, I was thinking of another card. 😖

That's the case for a lot of these PC's, I've noticed. It's hard to find a combo with ram and a cpu like that but also with a good video card.

Within the $1000 range anyway, but when I was finding a PC for Nemebro last month I checked out the high-end gamer PC's that TD and NE sells on a whim, they aren't significantly better, GPU wise.

That's why people should build. Not that it's an option for him, just saying.

The Advent, imo.

Yeah I agree. It really is the most cost-effective way to do it.

Depends on the RAM the Titan 8000a Krypt has. Though I think the Titan 8000a Krypt has more bang for the buck. Yeah, definitely. You can go for the HD 7700 and still come out ahead with the Titan... assuming it has a decent amount of RAM.

Everyone's going back to desktops now. I'm always late on the trends. 😬

Us cool people have never turned away from desktops.

But it used to be cool to carry around your laptop and be like "lol i have a laptop." Kinda like how everyone in school used to carry around guitars even though they didn't know three chords.

Them was the good ol days

Well looking at the specs a bit more it says it has 'RAM: Patriot Viper 3 "Red Venom" 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit'. So 8GB I guess. Thats just as much as the Advent.

I guess not reading the product specification just made a retard out of me. Looks like we have a winner in the Titan, then.

How... loathsome.

Well I didn't read it either so I guess we're both dumb.

Is it worth it getting Windows 8? I've heard that its actually a downgrade to windows 7.

No, it's not worth it. Just get the Win7 Home Premium 64 bit edition.
