Yes, especially if that anyone was not mentally sound when he's done it.Sorry, Cosmic, but goatseation is one of the unfortunate side-effects of killing people and going to prison.
Unfortunate indeed. It is a gross miscarriage of justice. The prison system is so broken.
At least it's better than Mexico's. I'd hate to live there. It's no wonder there are so many border hoppers.

Did you guys hear about the Halo Killer? (kid shoots both parents in the head after they tell him 'No more Halo', dad lives, mom dies.)He got 23 to life! A 17 year old! That means he will be 40 before he can possibly get out.
That sucks, right? We should protest.
Edit: C'mon, doesn't anyone else think that's lame?
Dang, that's crazy. It's sad when someone is obsessed with a video game to the point where they're willing to shoot someone when he/she is told not to play it anymore.

Watch people use that as an excuse to ban Halo.
Nah, I doubt that's going to happen. The mental state of the kid plays a big part in the situation.

It's terrible isn't it? I would have at least punched my mom first. He went straight for the kill.

How did you find it on your first try? I clicked search, typed in Brutal Legend, and all I got was one page and none of them had the thread in it. It only showed threads that had either the word brutal or legend posted in them.
Use the search field at the bottom of the forum.
Type in title:brutal
Ta-da!
Also, BT? Calling someone a fanboy is not automatically an insult. You are a fanboy. GK's a fanboy. I'm a fangirl. Q'Anilia and CC Cowgirl are fangirls. NemeBro and Black Yoshi and Neo Darkhalen are fanboys.
Everyone in this damn forum is a fanboy or fangirl of something. You wouldn't be here if you weren't.
The main difference is that some people take it too far, or think that being a huge fan of something is a bad thing, and thus take offense. While others are able to step back and realize that the things they are huge fans of are not necessarily perfect and are able to criticize them.
(Ever hear me go off criticizing Star Wars? Yeah. And I'll happily admit to being a SW fangirl. I'm a walking Matrix encyclopedia yet I'll happily point out all of the faults in the movies)
So knock it off and stop playing the victim.
And I want to hear no more about this stupid argument of semantics.

I didn't know I was weird last time...
Anyway, nobody should be punching or causing any physical harm to their parents (especially the mother) over something as small as a video game. I can understand yelling and arguing with them, but shooting your parents with a gun is going overboard.
I could never forgive myself if I shot and/or killed my parents just because they wouldn't let me play a video game. It's a horrible reason to murder somebody.
Originally posted by Burning thoughtYour opinion is far too simple to cover the forum definition of fanboy. It covers one extreme that you rarely see. It is an illogical definition for fanboy. BT, EVERYONE thinks that they are right anyway when they debate, yet they still debate it, but that alone is not enough to make them a fanboy.
False, that was my opinion of what a fanboy would act on a forum, problem is I was wrong because I was thinking logically from my own point of view, If i was a fanboy I wouldnt bother debating simply because I would think ime right anyway and wouldnt bother wasting time when I already have my own opinion and already believe that is the only possible opinion, that my character would win, ofcourse a fanboy is not logical so they would debate anyway. My defintion of a fanboy is fairly close ot the two things I quoted in your post, love and devotion to the character but also the idea that that character can never lose, no matter what.
1. No its not at all, anyone can be illogical, they dont have to be a fanboy. Your labelling a few things and adding them together such as not being logical, being bias, etc, people can be all these things and not even be a fan so its not a defintion. Its your opinion....
2. Now your assuming what the fanboy believes, for all you know they could realise they are wrong but simply do not admit it because of their love for the characer....
3. Its a single statement that a fanboy would use, certainly if you think of it logically, considering a fanboy is not necesserily logical then that could easily be a fanboy statement. And I cannot be a fanboy by any of the defintions, certainly not even by your own, and definatley not by the real defintion on Webster or Urban.
4. Why the hell would I protect my ego? thats a stupid thing to state considering only a small number of people on this forum are on my side so I wouldnt care. All my arguments are logical, as I said, people can only lie or label me to try and attempt to get out of the debate without having to agree that ive punished their argument into the ground, for example:
So in the end, your argument is pretty baseless rubbish, your just assuming someone a fanboy just because they dont see the debate going the way you
think it will and furthermore the majority feel half of which are not even part of the debate, hell theres usually one person in a debate against me, if not 2, others just appear saying "BT is fanboyz so his opposition are most correctz!" which is what you rely on in most debates, including this one. Also who dermines the odds? who determines when a supposed fanboy is debating against "the odds", for all you know the "fanboys" opposition could all be fanboys of the character hs debating against or simply idiots who dont/cant debate and have zero knowledge on the subject matter anyway or a personal vendetta against the supposed "fanboy" who by defintion (ime talking about myself not incase you dont pick up) is not a fanboy at all.
No, that is more of an extreme fanboy like Phenomenol. Not all fanboys are that extreme, factually.
1. That is technically a strawman argument. Anyone can be illogical, this is true, but being illogical is ONE trait of a fanboy. Everything I mentioned are the overall traits of a typical fanboy.
2. That is trolling. Not being a fanboy. Like what fascistcrusader does, he argues against incredible odds, but does so not because he believes what he is saying, but because he is a troll. Now there may be the (rare) occasion when what you are saying is true and they are not doing so to troll, but that is a deviation from the norm, which is what I am talking about.
3. You are a fanboy by my definition. When I wrote it you were one of the individuals I was thinking of. A fanboy is illogical, but can you name me, ONE person who has just sat in a thread claiming so-and-so wins over and over again? I can name one, he is not in this forum, and he does it to troll anyway.
4. And this my children is an examble of Burning Thought protecting his ego again. Notice how despite the fact that Burning Thought's arguments are clearly not logical, they are clearly founded on bias and wishful thinking, that BT continues to believe that he is simply the only one right and is in fact always the one being logical, "punishing" his opponents arguments. Your arguments are not always logical. This is a factual statement, the same way my own arguments are not always logical(only mine are logical more of the time than your's).
5. BT, most people do not bother debating you. Even I have ceased debating you most of the time. Because there is no point to doing it. I did not factor my own opinion at all into my explanation of a fanboy, I did not say it is because they disagree with me, you sure are good at using strawman arguments. When do we know if they are debating against the odds? Well it varies. Someone debating that Albert Wesker can beat Master Chief is arguing against the odds, however Albert is not totally chanceless because he has the speed to fight MC and the strength to harm him, along with superior fighting ability, the main reason it is against the odds is because MC is far too durable to be put down by Wesker, is at least as fast, and is much stronger. Now, someone who is arguing for Kain against let's say the Living Tribunal is arguing against massive, unreasonable odds. People do not argue with you because it is a waste of time.
Seriously, I find it amusing how you continue to lie to yourself and shut out the criticism of everyone else, I may act like a jackass, but when enough people criticise something I am doing, I pay attention. Countless people have offered their critique of you, yet you continue to pompously ignore them and convince yourself that they MUST be wrong. That is the mark of an egomaniac, and refusing to acknowledge criticism is the mark of a fool. Oh, and children, do take note that from the very start, before his name was brought up, BT has been arguing the definition of a fanboy and continuously claiming he is not one, before anyone claimed him one, just something to take note of. Humorous, wouldn't you agree?

Put yourself in that kid's shoes. You're a Halo junkie, and someone is getting between you and your fix. What do you do?
I'm glad you're not my dad, you baby-killer.

His "shoes?" If he is so mentally unsound that he would kill his parents due to not being allowed to play Halo, he is better off in a body bag.
Simply saying "I'm sorry" does not absolve him of his crimes.
Life in prison is the very least he should receive.
lol The only reason I dont create as I usually do another flawless argument for you to spam your nonsense to is because I actually listen to moderator decision and so will not follow the argument once again, I guess ill just ignore your self idolising bullshit and lies unless you want me to PM you the argument. Your last post in answer to my actual arguments was a repeat of what youve said and baseless statements.

You should see a therapist. Get that worked out. You'll become a better person.

Are you saying we should kill all crazy people?
But his Dad forgave him. That should count for something.
Life is too much for such a young kid.
Edit: And leave BT alone, you jerk. He's great already. He doesn't need to be a better person.

More infantile whimpering

Depending on the type of "crazy," yes. If their mental instability is a threat to someone else, they should not be allowed to live.
It counts for his dad being a weak-willed moron.
I'm 17. His age has nothing to do with it.
You're a comedian. Only not funny.
