The explosion blew a large gap in it's chest and back, throwing blood everywhere and alowing the heavy assault weapon to blow through it. The creature fell down and looked as if it was trying to get up but quit moving. Derek got up and made his way to the others. "We need to get to the launch station now.."

"Do you really see any survivors? Would you rather stay here and turn into those things? The whole city is gone and is going to nuked from space. We've got twenty-four hours to get to that launch pad." Derek made his way back to where Eric and the marines were.
"well..If we get in a vehicle sure we will obviously make it there faster but what if their is survivors. I know we cant save them all but that doesn't mean we should just leave them in the dust. If we walk yes it will be more dangerous but still we may be able to find other people out there. I'm sure theirs people that don't even know whats going on. sitting at home and thinking every things ok. but we all know the reality. Is it fare for those people?"
