yup...

but his experience, his ruthlessness and his raw power have to be factored in too...

imo he takes at LEAST 6/10...

If I see WW fighting all PC and asking him to stop instead of fighting I could see it that way.

That's the thing - Billy told Freddy that he didn't NEED to say SHAZAM anymore to change. Nor would saying SHAZAM necessarily change him from one form to the other. He didn't explain this as a gift that he personally bestowed on the new Captain Marvel, rather, he said this was the case because the 'rules' of magic had changed.

If the rules of magic have changed as such, they'd, likely, change across the board, no?

Wouldn't that include WW?

Magical Punches (Magical Lighting Punches) will put him in the dirt.

yeah, if there's lightning to accompany them...

but even at full on 'im gonna kill you' mode, the likes of shazam and adam have done more damage to superman than diana... though he does fight diana more that'd true...

the way i see it:

superman>cap/adam>>diana/j'onn...

if its black adam even half as pissed as he was during ww3, then i could see him hurting her bad...

Wha? I'm confused.

Wonder Woman doesn't say a magical word to gain her powers. She doesn't gain them from the lords of magic the way the SHAZAM twins do....
😬.

Oh, also, Captain Marvel Jr. (Well, the new Captain Marvel Senior, I suppose) can also call lightning without changing form, if I do recall correctly. Whether that should be taken into account for black adam or not, I dunno, but it's worth considering.

Unless specified by the OP, the characters have their normal gear. So in this case, yes.

I'm giving WW 7/10. She took punches from a amp Supes, plus her fighting skill level sets her above BA. In a one on one situation she's going to take it.

I've always seen it as supes> cm,ba,ww> J'onn.

I've never really seen anything to put Billy much higher than WW.shrug

When the "rules" changed was that just for them or all magic kind?

it could easily be that way, i'm just going by what i've seen...

i could be wrong, i just don't believe i am... 😛

Which is why I said Magical Lightning...

The Marvels are powered by magic. Their "regular" punches aren't actually magical but they can actually use magic to ampe themselves.

so we agree then? 😕

Has Superman ever considered Wonder Woman his equal? Or has he ever stated that he was too evenly matched with her?

Well, we haven't seen all the rule changes yet. All we've seen, so far, only really applies to Captain Marvel - since the book's about him, after all.

However, it should be noted that the 'Gods' that Captain Marvel and Black Adam draw their powers from are VERY different and separate from the gods whom have given their gifts to Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman gets her powers from the actual pantheons. The SHAZAM brothers get theirs from Lords of Magic, of which multiple 'copies' exist, and whom seem to be something very different than the Pantheon-ic gods.

Maybe these 'magic rule changes' are only concerning these lords? Maybe it only concerns Shazam? Maybe they apply to every single magic user in existence?

The latter seems more likely, as in the beginning of trials of Shazam, before Billy becomes Shazam, many magic users had begun going out of wack. Things had, obviously, changed for more than just Cap Marvel.

The rest of DC hasn't really seemed to acknowledge this, however. I haven't seen any indication of these happenings ANYWHERE but trials of shazam. 😬.

Really? Where was this stated?

I'm not doubting you - don't take this as a hostile question.

I really am just curious.

The events of 52 happen becuz of the absense of the big 3.

I know and I could easily see it your way too because they always show CM and Supes being somewhat equal while they show Supes being superior to WW but, then they always show/say that WW and CM are equal champions Also all of them to my knowledge have been shown to be above MM.ermm

i think she's one of the few people he'd consider to be his equal, though i've seen her tell him he was the most powerful of them all, so maybe its just lip service on his part...

I see a crossover if it hasn't already happened. This is Diana's niche.

Ditto. I've also seen him say she was the next most powerful.

It's not like Black Adam wouldn't have any of it. Sure things would have been different but he has never been afraid of anyone of "Big 3"

Or maybe it was just lip service on HER part? 😛.

Regardless; I'd say that Wonder Woman is just below a 'normal' Superman.

See Superman/Supergirl fight for further explanation of 'normal.'
