Bullshit because of what?

He was the physical superior to everyone present by a decent margin.

Not to mention he had a powerup at the time.

Is it because your lanterns were highly ineffectual??

No shame in Guy and Stewart falling flat, when they fight a guy who imo has the edge against them normally, but in that state had an undefined powerup in his favor.

Oh yeah, Teth koes Diana and Supergirl with dismissive fingerflicks.

Way to jump to conclusions that I'm pissed about how the Lanterns were written. Get the fuck out, please?

Speaking of, how do you think BA fairs against the upper echelon of GL's?

I think it'd be a toss up if he fought a Hal or Kyle level GL 1 on 1.

But apparently I'm a fanboy who gets upset when they lose so don't listen to me. ermmnone

Those were the only characters i remember being present who might have been more powerful than Teth without a powerup.

You said WW3 was trash, so i'm asking you now what made it trash?

What makes a story about an elite top tier with a powerup, running roughshod over a range of heroes trash?

I thought the same.

Na, I respect your opinion. In fact you and a few others are imo some of the best posters on the forum.

John and Guy are not more powerful than Teth. Hal was in prison at the time and Kyle was mysteriously missing as he was for all of 52.

And what makes it bullshit is the same thing that makes every team wrecking showing bullshit. Everyone is merely written as a disposable body.

I forgot about the thunderbolt and Firestorm.

Still.

Maybe we see things differently.

An elite top tier plus a powerup = an above the top tier, at least to me.

I don't see anything wrong with a potentially above the top tier character running ragged over a range of heroes top tier and below in powerlevels, especially when the potentially above the top tier is out of his mind with grief and rage, and they're merely trying to contain him.

Superman runs roughshod over DC earth, maiming teams is an extremely hard sell, but a sun amped Superman who's insane over the death of Pa and Ma, isn't.

And i sure hope they're collecting it into a tpb, so i can frame it and rub one out on it anytime someone brings up KOTW or WWH.

Maybe I shouldn't have said bullshit but I don't really see their relevance to a one on one fight.

Characters maim a team in one showing but then later get stalemated by an individual from that team. The old reverse ninja effect.

True.

But nobody stalemated Teth with a powerup.

Course, no one could since he lost it at the end of the mini.

But Superman in KOTW fits perfectly with the reverse ninja effect.

But when everyone who fought Teth was portrayed as rather dim, it makes the whole thing less impressive.

Same reason Marvel fans don't give Superman Prime any credit.

He never lost the power up, he just lost his word.

Superman Prime never got credit from the fans i saw, because he really didn't beat up anyone in the top tier.
It really seemed like DC didn't wanna commit to the guy, but they've changed their stance it seems, somewhat.

I myself forgot that he broke Hals arm, and nearly killed Guy.

With the latest book tho, he gets credit.

But is that any different than how the DC fans seem to be intent on painting Sentry as sub top tier?

That may be because Sentry's done nothing deserving of the title of "elite top tier".

Fighting Genis, holding back the power of a cosmic cube, fighting a powered up Hulk to a stalemate, embarassing Terrax?

He's not fricking Wonder Woman.

Everyone agrees Sentry is top tier. They just don't think he's going to man handle top tiers like certain other people do. 😗

Sentry blows. I hope Mar-Vell KO's his ass hard.

Why did you post a pic of Superman holding Donna troy in a choke hold?

Well as far as this particular match goes, I'd give BA at least a 7/10 to 8/10 on Diana.

To Date Diana has done well against
Captain Marvel
Captain Nazi
THe Doomsday clone stronger than the original
Superman on a few occasions-some better than others
Etrigan
White Martians
a Daxamite
Hermes
Barda
Flash
Captain Atom
Power Girl
ANd she's even blitzed Ares.
She's also embarrassed Granny Goodness who was the most powerful of all the female furies
She's bitched Kara twice, Once in a choke hold, once with one punch
She's survived Being hit at faster than light speed by Superman and Zoom
She's Been strong enough to hold a city sized ship while on fire, a meteor that looked to be the size of small state, and Pull her fair share of the earth's weight against the sun's pull.

Her Speed is great enough to match Jesse quick going into the speed force, match flash and superman to depower surtur, and also keep up with Hermes.

Now With that type of skill and Battle record, To say BA would steam roll her is just crazy. Now I hadn't even mentioned Her Magic lasso, Her Tiara, Her Vambraces and Her force field and her nifty invsible disk of lanishiar which she just happens to carry behind her belt. Such lovely trinkets in there.

Now how does BA just steam roll someone with such a record? I'd like to know who he's pwned in hand to hand with such a record?

Adam also doesn't do that holding back thing like most other top tiers, every attack is given with the intent to kill.

Just for clarification because I always see this statement about a lot of 'anti-hero' type characters: Is it that his every attack is made with the intent to kill or with disregard for if it kills the target because those two are very different things.
