Honestly, if he tried that, he basically screwed himself in this fight. Erik's body can use the water vapor to suck it up, and power himself up. And once his shields are up, they'd just absorb the ice anyways.

The scan proves that Magneto can spread his powers over a very wide area (on many different planets to be exact) which proves how powerful he is. I've never seen Iceman do something like that... ever.

A) Your not getting it. Iceman just doesnt make "ice". Ice is sometimes a by product of him stopping all molecular motion. Magneto cant stop that from happening. Freeze him? Are you not understanding the basic facts that iceman can freeze him in about three different ways? His molecules, his water content, and his environment (his outside physical body). The power in the electromagnetic fields that hold the water molecules together don't store enough latent energy to really boost his electromagnetic power. Water is not a good inducer of magnetic field lines. It can become a good inducer if say you send a current through it or if you have a current near it or some form of static electricity in its vicinity, because it will become ionized. And, because of maxwell equations, if there is a present electric field component, then a perpendicular magnetic field component also exists. Also, Magneto doesn't control atoms. He controls molecules. If he could control atoms, then he would have control over the strong force. I haven't seen a scan of him doing that. if he did, would he be a matter manipulator like sersi? He can't transmute things, which means that even if he could manipulate water, what could he do to it. Maybe you can provide a scan for me if i am wrong. Water and water vapor is everywhere, and since water is in the air, he can't seperate it from the air. So if he gets rid of all the water vapor, the air is going to go along with it and although magneto is a mutant, he still needs to breath.
