You're Favorite Sith Lord

True. He is the most famous Sith Lord. But in mah book, it's Nihilus.

"He cares nothing for the Sith or its teachings… or the Jedi. And when the Jedi are dead, he will feed on the galaxy, the Republic, and eventually, consume the Sith as well."

Yeah! Nihilus is a good spin on the Sith. One completely consumed with acquiring raw power that he'll eventually destroy the order that brought him to that road.

My favourite is still Vader.

By the way, Palpatine's entry to the Telos Holocron says that his Force Storms were summoned with "mere thought and [or 'or] inclination."

I'm aware of that. 😉

Excellent... everything is proceeding as I have forseen...
You used that line at the beginning of Project Holocron, tool. Come up with a new one.

And why exactly are you writing this paper?

To crush all who oppose me. Sadly, I've forgotten all of my sources so it's only half done.

Hasn't Publius (I) already done that [write the essay]?

He has written an essay on Palpatine, yes. But this is strictly about the Emperor's aptitude and command of the Force. Many of the statements came from Publius, but I don't think he's as well versed in this particular aspect of Palpatine as I am.

Fair enough. I like what I've read so far.

Are you ever going to post it here?

I still don't think that sounds very Sithly.

Vader

Palpatine
Bane
Revan

In order.

Darth Bandon, Darth Revan, Darth Zannah.

I have taste.

I hoped to gain an appreciation for Vader, but he is just too flawed for me to appreciate.

I just can't imagine Bane acting like Anakin did at the Fireplace in AOTC. That was embarrassing.

I can't remember his name, but he was the Sith Lord who did basically nothing. He was the middle management of the Sith.

Vectivus? (SP)

Maybe that's because it was Anakin at the fireplace, not Vader... hmm?

Ah, but they are really the same person. Or if not that, they go back and forth, which is irritating in itself.

Even the Vader version seems to be a problem. I see him constantly do silly things for being too emo, like crying or trying to jump over Kenobi or being too 'thrown off' by Luke because of the connection. His habit for losing limbs gets old and there is a rumor that he even got beat up by a Tusken Raider! He may have been cool to a certain generation, but to me he is just bizarre.

What's bizzare about actually being threatened in battle or having regrets about losing friend and wife because of your fears?

And trully how many times has Vader lost his limbs? I can think of only a couple of occasions.

Vader is a model of what turning to the darkside means to a real person. SW has so many unconvincing dark siders, Vader is one of the few that trully embody what the dark side means.

I can think of only a handful other Sith who really demonstrate the difference between Jedi and Dark Jedi.

I can compare your dislike of Vader for these reasons to my friend who forsook his political party because he didn't like the way the party leader gestured with his hands: both are symptoms of a fastidious creature who can't recognize the meaningful issues.

Sorry. See Allankles' post.

He lost his right arm five times.
