My second point is that would Sidious be stupid enough to get into that scenario Anakin was in?

Lets face it, Anakin is a selfish gullible retard. I mean, would anyone commit genocide just to 'maybe' save his loved one and then think that his loved one would understand this.

"I killed younglings and cut off a black guy's hand, but at least you're not dead yet. Aren't I the best?"

Sidious' reasons are way more realistic.

I don't disagree, Sidious feigns weakness to finally make Anakin turn into Vader with the fight with Mace, from what we've seen he was a master tactician and very intelligent. I just don't believe Sidious is stupid enough to make the same decisions Anakin made.

hm... have i answered this? meh.

Vader - just because he looks awesome. Awful sith, though - he could not let go of his compassion and stuff when it came to his son... but i guess everybody's got a weak point in there somewhere... dude's too reckless too...

Sidious - tactical and sly - he ran both wars, and somehow twisted everything to his own gain, and all the time twisting Anakin's mind against the Jedi. now if he's not a master tactician from that, then I don't know what else.

Maul - not enough screen time, but he looked awesome. dunno much about him - but he looked awesome on screen, and i'm thinking about getting books about him... there are some, right? or comics.. or whatever - EU stuff.... are they good or not, on that note?

Yes there are a couple of comics and one book i know of Shadowhunter. I enjoyed all of them.

True GL didn't make the initial transition convincing, but after Mustafar things fall into place.

Yes, killing the younglings and such was way too extreme, siding with Palpy against Mace and not lifting a finger to help the Jedi temple would have sufficed and his conflict with Obi Wan afterward would have been enough as the turning point.

A lot of fans complained back when Episode 3 came out that GL never gave enough justification for why Anakin would kill younglings after accepting Palpy's proposal.

For me wounding Mace, would have been followed by arresting the Jedi and/or not aiding them when the troopers stormed the temple, and then it would have been followed by Obi Wan/Padme rejecting his offer to be part of the new regime, finishing with the fight.

We already saw him struggling with his decision, killing younglings seemed too extreme for Anakin.

The willingness to kill children showed the extremity of his mental situation. That was the most evil thing he did to date. Though I do feel that it happened a little too soon after his fall. A drawn out and more in-depth Operation Knightfall would have provided a more visual evidence of Anakin's descent so that by the time he killed the Younglings, we would be less shocked (not the good/cool shock, the disgusted shock).

So, this has become a battle of insults? Very well:

Nice move, but I have studied geekery for about 3 years now.

My response:

Nah! I dominate you: I had sex with 18 virtual women, and I will post them to you if you dare ask for "proof"!

Not much you can do about that, my good chum.

Ps. Shoeplay rocks.

The f*ck is wrong with you?

And it's not only that which bothers me about his character. He's always talking about how he wants to save his Padmé because of how he lost his mother, but then suddenly on Mustafar he also has the ambition to be the ruler of the galaxy ... I know he always wanted to be the strongest Jedi but emperor didn't seem to be his style at the point. It's like going to the dark side has to include ambition to own the galaxy.

You studied Geekery ? Which university did you attend ? We may have had some classes together.

Lord bane for me,i dont have to mention the 101 reasons why. He didnt even require an army to stop the jedi,in fact he can kill them without touching them through his thought bomb. "His force wave was so strong it shattered bones and collapses buildings in one blast" Well,i know jedi can cause such damage but not his kind in one shot.

His lightning is legend and learned from reaven some of the vast powers, but reaven never attempted such attacks. Yeah i go for bane.

When did Bane ever use the thought bomb?

My favourite is the greatest Sith Lord of all: Darth Krayt.

(Okay, maybe not greatest of all, but definately up there).

I second that...he's cool, calm, and collected. he's one of the few new sith that has a sense of honour about him, plus, he's an ex-jedi, so has the experience and knows the pros and cons of both.

sure he's kept alive by a mixture of healer meditation and stasis, but he's been alive for over 130 years.

Great. I thought I was the only Krayt fan here.
