The way it was depicted by Marvel,

Thanos became the Almighty (God) with IN the Omniverse.

God/Toaa control and create everything that takes place with IN Marvel Comics,

so God/Toaa made Thanos the Supreme Being with IN the Omniverse.

IMO, God/Toaa should be in a class of their own and should never be included in a hierarchy,

because their Supremacy is not a question of power or scale of influence,

they make eveything happen, they give Omnipotence if they wish to characters, so it's silly to have them even in the same category as other comic book characters.

Yea GOD/TOAA shouldn't be included in a hierarchy since, like you said, they make everything happen.

I think that this thread was taken way out of context. When I said DC/Marvel I meant characters ie; Mxy, Eternity, LT, etc. I did not mean the friggin authors and illustrators. This isn't Thanos vs Stan Lee and Alex Ross. In the context of the storyline if THOI gave Thanos omnipotence than the discussion should be who in DC/Marvel can defeat him. People get tunnel vision when the see the word omnipotent. Obviously their was a bigger brain at work to out fox Thanos. God has never appeared on panel and thus should not be a part of the equation. TOAA has appeared and had trouble keeping thier universes together.Dc vs Marvel is considered non-canon, i know.Just because you have one aspect of Godhood (power) doesn't make you unbeatable as we saw. Being omniscient is greater than being omnipotent imo. With that being said Team 1 FTW.

The difference is, the characters in the End( thanos) actually acknowleges That he was duped. Thus He was not God and admitted such on panel. No matter who god was, if god was another fictional characcter not seen, or an author, Thanos admits that he was not in control and thus not god. period.
