who's gonna direct the Avengers movie??

will they all just collaborate??

wayyy too early to tell, Movie probably wont be out till at least 2013

actually it comes in 2011, the 50th anniversary of Marvel if i'm not mistaken, with the CA movie to come out only two months prior

i wonder how they can make the mask not look dorky

I don't think there's truly anything dorky about Captain America's costume.

I think the opposite of what everyone thinks

I think the costume will look shit-hot on screen,

make it darker and such,

Anyone else think Will Hurt was absoulutely perfect in this movie?

Yes, I really prefer Will Hurt's General Ross over Sam Elliot's for some reason. I thought his Ross was somewhat evil and I loved seeing that.

Hurt is an amazing actor IMO, he was excellent in Mr Brookes

Do what they did in The Ultimates - turn it into a combo combat helmet with eyeholes, plus the chinstrap. Design the front so a gas mask can attach on quick when he needs it.
And make sure he carries a gun & munitions, to go with the shield.

I want a costume like in the Ultimate Avengers animated movie, that looked pretty cool.

Ditto

ya know, Ang Lee's Hulk was too smart

biting off missile heads, not killing people...

at least this movie shows Hulk for what he truly is... a rampaging, mindless monster (except when he sees Betty)

Isn't the former what Hulk does? He does try to avoid killing innocents doesn't he?

Well, when you publish a monthly comic, you can't have your hero cause lots of innocent deaths. Even though in the past few years, its been retconned as to how many deaths Hulk is responsible for inadvertently, if any.
But there's more freedom in the movies. Hulk doesn't want to kill anyone, but his anger rages out of control when he's being attacked and may cause deaths when he fights back. So, it's about Banner trying to get control of Hulk from the inside a little more each time, while also trying not to let him out.
The Hulk is a danger to people at large, but the bigger danger (as the movie shows) is what would happen if the military got ahold of him - dissect him and make 100 more like him. Gamma soldiers who would all go unstable and rampaging like Blonsky did.

While it was cool seeing the Hulk kill a few people, it's not in his nature to willingly kill people. Good post roughrider.

I know all this. My point was Hulk isn't a mindless monster.

Sure. There's just a difference between Mindless Hulk & Savage Hulk, which he was for most of his life. Savage has simple intelligence, and goes overboard even for small things. Mindless was just that, and smashed with no rationality or conscience.

How many times has the Mindless Hulk actually emerged?

And what do you guys think of the Devil Hulk appearing in this franchise? I'd orgasm if that happened.

Only when Banner has been fully separated from Hulk; physically (the John Byrne days) or mentality (climax of the first Onslaught saga.)

The Hulk should be depowered in live action movies because it's boring to see the hero take on everything easily. That works well in the comics and in the animated TV shows, but in a live action movie, having a hero that's too strong is boring.

That's not what Hulk is at all.
