The Incredible Hulk

i just meant how he empties tanks before smashing them, in this movie he just smashed everything that hurt him regardless of the people

and he got smarter toward the end because Banner had a bit of control right? or is that just Hulk getting smarter on his own?

I don't know if he did get any smarter throughout the film, he spoke at the start after his first transformation, did you hear him say "leave me alone"? ... it was kinda under his breath.

Everything he did was either to protect himself or protect Betty ... he did what a dog would do (a really, really, big dog)

Sure. There's just a difference between Mindless Hulk & Savage Hulk, which he was for most of his life. Savage has simple intelligence, and goes overboard even for small things. Mindless was just that, and smashed with no rationality or conscience.

Thank you for muddling up the point I was trying to get across.

I don't remember him emptying tanks but I remember them showing a shot of a tank he threw and the people were getting out of it with what looked like very few injuries considering they were just thrown while inside a tank. It made me wonder if they were trying to avoid having Hulk kill people or if the people in that movie just refused to take damage.

Only when Banner has been fully separated from Hulk; physically (the John Byrne days) or mentality (climax of the first Onslaught saga.)

So, what's become of the Devil Hulk? Didn't he only get like...one storyline? 🙁

The Hulk did actually kill & seriously injure some people in the movie but it was only in self defense.

It was the filmmakers, trying to cover their bases by showing Hulk doesn't try to kill people.

They were very successful then. By showing Hulk throwing tanks with people in them the first thing that popped into my head was the fact that Hulk wasn't trying to kill them and how being inside 30~ tons of airborne metal isn't life threatening at all.

I could of been mistaken and it could of been a tank he only tipped or shoved away, or maybe one not even in combat, but if it is as I remembered it, it's just a silly moment.

Still, wouldn't the impact of the tank falling cause some sort of injury? It may not exactly kill the people inside, but it'd cause some sort of injuries, no?

Btw, since Bruce was able to reduce some of the gamma radiation in his body, does that mean if he hadn't he'd have been a bit bigger? I know he would've been stronger, but did that have anything to do with his height as well?

I was expecting some reference to "angrier = stronger" in the film (especially while fighting A-bom) a little disappointed it never got brought up ... especially as it was mentioned at least once in 2003's Hulk

yeah i did hear it, but to quote Qui Gon Jinn, "the ability to speak does not denote intelligence"😄

and for the Hulk to figure out how to do a thunder clap and to do it to put out flames was kinda smart, that's like a dog pushing a bucket of water on a fire on purpose

They didn't mention it but they did kind of show it at the end.

Spoiler:
The Hulk was getting owned and came back and started winning the fight. He even was about to kill A-Bomb until Betty spoke up.

And what do you guys think of the Devil Hulk appearing in this franchise? I'd orgasm if that happened.

I actually think that Devil Hulk would be cool, how it tries and finally escapes from Banners psyche.

poor banner cant get rough sex 😂 😂

He should take viagra, so his heart rate doesn't have to get that high. 😂

Either that, or Betty learns to love what the Hulk's packing...
And she might. 😈

When in doubt, the Hulk will smash...the va...well, you get the point.

As for the Devil Hulk, I think for the movie he should actually escape for a minute and be in control of Banner's body, but then he somehow gets separated from Banner's body. Then, the Hulk would be able to fight him. Either that or take a page out of UD's book and have them fight inside Banner's head.

i've been wondering about that,

is a high heart rate enough to trigger a transformation regardless of the emotion, or was Banner just being overly cautious?

Overly cautious.
