The Incredible Hulk

I don't mind that the final cut was different from what Norton wanted, because of the fact that had that 70 minutes been included, we'd have had a 3 hour Hulk movie. There's nothing wrong with a 3 hour movie on a DVD, but in a theater people wouldn't go for it & it also would cut down the amount of showings it'd have which would mean less money.

I doubt the entire 70 minutes was what Norton wanted and was good enough to be in the movie anyway. Just that adding the psychological edge to the movie would have been different. Plus the extra dynamic of Sampson would have added some depth. I liked the movie, but now I want to see what I was cheated out of.

No one was cheated out of anything, because the 70 minutes are full of human scenes that were intended to further help space out the action scenes. What we got was best.

LOL!! So you would have preferred a 40 minute movie with pure action and no talking/development?

No you half brained monkey. There was enough character development as it was, I wouldn't want a 3 hour Hulk movie in theaters. As bad as the pacing was for the 2003 movie, I don't ever even want a 2 & a half hour long Hulk movie again, unless someone can prove me wrong about a Hulk movie being that long being bad.

That's Mr. Half-brained Monkey to you!

Oh, but of course.

Louis Leterrier doubts there will be a sequel, looking at the current box office.
Marvel is happy because Iron Man far out-performed their expectations, which makes up the shortfall for IH. They financed both films.

Damn, he said he really wanted to do a sequel. It's too bad that their might not be a sequel but I still have hope for one.

7/10 for this movie. Awful, awful screenplay. Tyler and Norton have zero chemistry. But the action sequences are the best I've seen in a very long time.

Awful screenplay? I really disagree, I think this movie is one of the best superhero movies out there, and everything about it just worked.

I preferred Ang Lee's film.

There were moments in this movie that were just unbearably cheesy. Combination of bad writing, bad acting and Liv Tyler, Queen of cheese. Norton was also particularly bad in several scenes.

Loved the action though. And William Hurt and Tim Roth.

Well, to each his own, but Ang Lee's movie wasn't close to being a real Hulk film. I feel that this movie captured every character the way they should be in a film. I look forward to the continuation of this franchise.

This movie was awesome period.. end of discussion. Every character nailed.. especially the Hulk.. The Last fight between the Abomination and Hulk could've been a little longer with some more Hulk power rage including but Edward Norton was amazing in this film. We need more HUlk films coming like this.

I agree, the Hulk looked real in this. Everyone says the CGI in the first movie was top notch but I still found this CGI to be better.

In a story for Entertainment Weekly, it described the time conflict as 15 minutes. Norton & Leterrier wanted a 2 hour 15 minute film; Marvel & the producers were holding firm at 2 hours.

It turned out best as is, I thought the timing was perfect.

When does it come out on DVD?

I believe it's sometime in November but I'm not entirely sure. I just hope there's some copies left by my birthday.

even if it isnt doing amazing now it will be amazing at dvd as i have loads of friends tht would love it but didnt see it either because they thought it would be like the first one or because they couldnt be arsed because it was in summer
