It's nothing personal, I was trying to preemptively avoid a potential argument with a generic statement... and I hope I haven't failed to avoid the argument by trying to avoid the argument.

Here we go with one of those "I hate Humans and I think Animals are alot better than them in many aspect....Oh wait, I am a human. LOLZ." type of threads. 🙄

Someone already tried that. They got shot down though.

is it 'cause people make stronger connections with animals? You know the whole "unconditional" love?

my cat hates me though...but I know he loves me...🙂

However, survival is an unfortunate and brutal necessity.

But it is not for survival that you eat meat, is it?

Odd.

Animals are tasty. I regard them far more highly on my plate than humans. Mmmmmm....Steak, Turkey, Chicken, Pork and my personal fave. Veal.

Damn I love Veal. I wonder how it's made? Such a pale meat.

I bet some hippee is throwing a tanturm reading that post.

Animal cruelty is both good and bad but for animals ONLY it's a bad thing. How does it affect us? It helps us in many aspects nutritional wise and medicational wise. Really hate the animal activists and their self hating ways. 🙄

that is a really cool sig.

i bitched in an aol chat room for a long time that it's okay to be cruel to animals. I don't believe that but they got pissed...they were saying stuff how the chickens are kept in tiny pens and fed until their legs give out under their weigh then they're killed...I was saying it was okay because they never got to feel pleasure or happiness to begin with so there's nothing for them to expect...I think i made a decent argument but they got pissed...

You had AOL? Shame on you.

They were probably a bunch of self centered people who never care for other people opinions. Yes, all they feel is pain but no emotion for other animals. A male lion would attack his own kind sometimes, as well as other animals.

Ever heard of the term "Act like a bunch of animals"?

Well, it is due to the fact that animals fight each other and sometimes kill their own species or kind.

AOL must die!!! pitt_fist

As for lions it is kinda funny but my wife is seeing one today as part of her vet training 😆

The male lion if it takes over a new pride will normally kill off all of the young of the other male so that it only has his offspring.

lions are dicks...
