I don't mind Kratos being black because for one he actually looks black & he's not in real Greek Mythology. In fact, I wouldn't mind Zeus being black but Michael Clarke Duncan is the wrong actor, he looks nothing like Zeus.

Well seeing that I misspelled it, which is an honest mistake. Again God of War will shoot like 300. Sounds like a 65million dollar movie. 300 worked, lets see it God of War will.,

I had a feeling it was a typo, just had to make sure. Anyway, the first GOW movie shouldn't need that big of a budget so 65 million sounds right.

Christopher Lee should play Zeus.

Okay, so we've all played the games by now (and if you haven't, you should.) Universal has the rights to a movie, and otherwise, we don't know Jack about who's in it or anything, so this thread is entirely for your personal opinions of who should play whom in this epic movie (if they ever get off of their epic asses and make the damned thing.)

NOTE: FOR NOW, LET'S LIMIT IT TO THE FIRST MOVIE (i.e., THE FIRST GAME)

Naturally, as this is only my speculation, I look forward to hearing what each of you thinks as well, and will openly accept any positive criticism as to the roles I have listed. I have chosen each for specific reasons, though the most obvious one is that when I see these characters in the game playing through it late on Saturday evenings, I can actually see these actors/actresses playing the individual parts listed for them.

Anyway, enough of my gibberish. On to the public! What think you all?

Good list but like all video game movie made no matter the cast the studios always find a way to mess up a perfectly good franchise. Here's hoping they don't completely take away our will to live.

Perhaps, but with David Jaffe overseeing, and Sony working on it with Universal, there may be some hope. I mean, it's not like Uwe Boll is directing it. (I hope...)

Also, Kumori, I think your casting is pretty bad, no offense. Personally I'm not sure who I'd go with for Kratos, but I don't think Vin could pull off the whole "tormented" Spartan warrior; he'd probably make it lame. Not to mention half your cast members are either just hot chicks or WWE wrestlers.

although im a fan of vin diesel, this role may be to heavy for him, but i did like what he did in a man apart. There are worse people they could choose for Kratos.

To me, the perfect choice for this role is the black dude from blood diamond. He has the The voice, the build and acting ability

Djimon Hounsou is very talented and an incredible actor, however he is too old for the role
