So, the Darkseid that lost to Spectre, was just an avatar?

Pretty much, but not all.

Which clearly means that he ACTUALLY beats the Spectre.

Duh.

So we are supposed to pick which DS showings we don't like, and call DS in those showings, avatars?

Okay... 🙂

So, what you're saying is that... an avatar can hurt the Spectre, and can also do the same amount of damage to Superman?
Superman=Spectre?

No wait, an avatar can instantly regenerate when he's destroyed?
Would have helped during Apokalips Now (which, I have no doubts you think is an avatar)... when he got his head kicked in by Superman.

Doesn't make sense, but the avatar clearly says DS cannot lose on the physical plane. But DS losing to Spectre makes sense, the spectre would know he was fighting an avatar and where to find the real thing.

Pretty much, not all. Meaning that his loss against the Spectre probably wasn't an avatar. Geez, you're more annoying than Quanchi and 2damn together.

But if that was the real Darkseid, then he just lost on the physical plain, didn't he?

Question: "So, the Darkseid that lost to Spectre, was just an avatar?"
Answer: "Pretty much, but not all."

How does that even make sense?

Anyway, so, if it is the real Darkseid, then doesn't that mean that New Gods 15 is directly contradicted?
I mean, he does have unlimited power, and he is unbeatable on the physical plain.

I also like how you pick and chose which one is an avatar, and which one is the real one, without any evidence behind it...
It's awesome.

Thank you.

Give Darkseid his props. He did better than Superman or Waverider did. 313

By BFR. Which Darkseid could have easily done under an intelligent writer. 🙄

But they lasted long enough to do so... 🙄

New Gods 15 states that DS does in fact use avatars, [which most of us already knew]..

But it also states that DS prefers NOT to use them, and ONLY does so when his attention must be divided in more then one place...

Now you would tend to think that if an all powerful monster was ravaging DS's planet.... ALL of his attention would be there, [meaning we weren't seeing a mere avatar]... But that's just me.

srug

Anyhow, that's really a moot point....

Unless said issue(s) specifically state that we are seeing an avatar of DS, I won't just assume it was an avatar, simply because I didn't like the outcome of certain events. ermm

Well Dan jurgens already gave us what he thought about the fight. He already says they beat each other 5/5. Which in fact, is what happened in HP. One kill for DS, One ass beating for DD. Now the crunchy part is what DS means by physical plane, probably means he can't be beaten with pure muscle alone. Which is why Orion NEVER wins. According to Dan, they win 5/5 over each other. That is enough for me to continue to think that I was right and DD was infact killed.

*sighs*

It's clear to everyone that Darky didn't kill DD with the OE.

I know you like DS, but come on. 😬
