Pretty much, but not all.
No wait, an avatar can instantly regenerate when he's destroyed?
Would have helped during Apokalips Now (which, I have no doubts you think is an avatar)... when he got his head kicked in by Superman.

Pretty much, not all. Meaning that his loss against the Spectre probably wasn't an avatar. Geez, you're more annoying than Quanchi and 2damn together.

How does that even make sense?
Anyway, so, if it is the real Darkseid, then doesn't that mean that New Gods 15 is directly contradicted?
I mean, he does have unlimited power, and he is unbeatable on the physical plain.
I also like how you pick and chose which one is an avatar, and which one is the real one, without any evidence behind it...
It's awesome.
Thank you.
New Gods 15 states that DS does in fact use avatars, [which most of us already knew]..
But it also states that DS prefers NOT to use them, and ONLY does so when his attention must be divided in more then one place...
Now you would tend to think that if an all powerful monster was ravaging DS's planet.... ALL of his attention would be there, [meaning we weren't seeing a mere avatar]... But that's just me.
srug
Anyhow, that's really a moot point....
Unless said issue(s) specifically state that we are seeing an avatar of DS, I won't just assume it was an avatar, simply because I didn't like the outcome of certain events. ermm
