Dating and race

Ok, do tell of your experiences with dating, and within the same race or different race, whatever you say, I won’t put you down for it at all.

I’ll tell mine and talk about the good/bad of what I found in dating period.

1. African-American guy off and on for 7 years
He wasn’t the best looking AA guy on the planet, but I was crazy about him. He was going to be an engineer, was a great student. Fun to be around and I would beat him in video games.

Bad part: He told me he wanted a real black woman. Like the nutty-buddy that I am, I went out to the store and bought sun-tan lotion and got as dark as I could. The next day he saw me, he laughed at me. I was confused as to what that really meant, and he never could tell me what that was about.

2. Dated 2 Haitian guys (Caribbean)
One guy was either in the closet or very very effeminate in nature, didn’t really feel anything but social obligation to date him and was glad when we parted ways, same with the other guy, but he wasn’t effeminate, just wasn’t my type.

3. Dated 2 white guys (American)
First guy, I wasn’t into him, he was playing interference b/c he knew I liked the other guy. The other guy was single, but was too busy wondering about my finances. The first guy wasn’t my type physically and was too jealous over the other guy, even though it wasn’t working out with the other guy anyway. One guy was in my differential equations class.

4. Chinese guy (moved to Canada)
we worked together, he was attractive, and would sit at my table and we would talk for a long time, then, a lady kept sitting there for 4-6 hours at a time listening to us talk, that lady was his girlfriend.

5. Mozambique (Africa)
we were in a differential equations or calculus 3 class, I thought he was handsome, but he was getting married. I always gave him answers to our quizzes, he hated that, even though he took the answers anyway.

6. Croatia (Europe)
He use to ask me out and ask me questions that he already knew the answers to. When he told me he was married, I told him I could only date him if his wife and kids came along, he didn’t want that for some reason. He was very handsome guy.

7. Two guys from India
One guy is from Bangladesh, he was going to med school. He was nice, but put me down after I gained weight, we only went on dates for him to show boat, even though I never thought I was that pretty to begin with, but he would publicly tell people that I USE to be good looking when I was skinny, which wasn’t very nice. Likable guy, but not so cool when it comes to the weight issue.

Another guy was from India, wasn’t interested in him, he felt the same as the other guy who was playing interference in #3, as that was around the time I was interested in getting to know another guy from Mozambique, who was later engaged.

8. The guy who I fell in love with …

Dated 5 white women... I'm not white. Well I love pale girlies, it's a preference really... but it didn't start that way. No problems with race differences in any of those relationships.

btw, i gave the answer to most of the folks in my class, i was never a competive student in the sense of not giving or teaching or sharing information, so I shared answers with EVERYONE, no matter the color or race or language, and any fellow student who was in any of the classes that I was in knows this about me, so I gave and shared answers with the whites guys, black guys, African guys, Asian guys, and there wasn't any hispanics/native indians in my classes, but if there was, I would share with them too. That's just the way I was, I shared what I knew. So, please note that it was more then just the guy from Mozambique, I was sharing and giving answers to anyone who was kind to me.

AA guy, and that was 12-13 years ago...just to calm down anyone who has a dirty mind.

Not with guy number 8, I lost a lot of control there.

You're mocking me, no it's not easy to not have sex, and no, I am no angel, I fell in love with a guy who ended up married and I would have done anything to be with him, so no, I am no angel in that reagard... if that's what you're trying to imply. I have had plenty of married men tell me their interest and each time, the answer was always NO, with the guy number 8, I can't honestly state that I would have done the right thing.

I wish I were totally innocent, but I fell, and that happens in life.

I'm white. I've dated two white girls, one filipino, one korean, one japanese, one black, and two hispanic girls. The asian girls are usually much more reserved (except the filipino one) than the others, since they were actually from korea and japan respectively. Other than that, all the others were the same. No difference in personality by race. Just the usual, normal individual personalities.

Its nothing to do with 'race' in my opinion, but more with culture.

For example, some South European (this includes Italians, Greeks...etc) and Middle Eastern guys have this annoying macho thing going which irritates the crap out of me.

I am guessing that if they were born and grew up in the same place, it would be more about culture than 'race'. I doubt 'race' could/would play any part.

I have no racial preferences when it comes to dating women. As long as she's cute and can hold a conversation. She can't have a flat ass and chest though. (ok, she has to at least have one of the two.)

But a woman's skin color doesn't matter to me when it comes to dating.

I've only dated white women...they are all that turn me on. I'd be dis-the **** pwned-if I dated outside my race.

hard to love someone who only loves themselves.

...tis nothing wrong with interracial dating. I dated 2 black women. They were classy. ..incredible lovers too. 🙂

This one others can share their experiences as well, its hardly an everything about Czarina thread.

In fact I learned that RJ has an Asian woman that he's happy with. 😄👆
