Im not going to lie, I love odin a little more than dbz BUT that doesnt change the fact that it was the narrator that said that. The battle was all in odins bio. It was on panel and it showed the destructive force that was created during the battle. It cant get no simpler than that.

He's yet to show a shred of proof to back up the DBZ claims outside of "he said/she said."

Nothing has been shown that has more power to destroy the universe over the Doc, Mcfly, and the delorean.

In fight with Odin, nothing was shook except Thanos, and, was it in Asgard.?
Against Tyrant they destroyed when they fought, far from planet, let alone Universe.
Against Galactus, well, he was shown to be an ant to him.

Of course, probably more than just one planet.

And when Goku and Vegeta fought the first, you know yourself the whole planet was shaking.
And already as SSJ Goku he was 1000 times more powerful as when he fought Vegeta for the first time (and we also know that already there Vegeta in their first fight had the power when he wasn't fresh anymore to destroy the Earth).

And since it was Anime pick used, then it's no problem using them from Anime.

I have been agreeing with you phenomenol but I do think that thanos possess enough power to destroy a planet. He just dont possess enough power or speed to take out a dragonball character, especially someone in buu caliber.

Buu would destroy thanos. To me this isnt even a fight, its a slaughter. I just think that theres a lot of people on the forums that have something against dragonball z. Dragonball z characters cant fight in a city or even a planet with life because the world shakes and tremble and everything always end up getting destroyed. They dont understand that you can be fighting goku and he could continue to power up getting stronger and stronger (black hair goku).

They dont understand that pan at the age of 5 flew around the earth in 2 minutes without strain and goku is>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>pan in speed. All they want to do is pick out the weak points. Well since youre doing that lets bring up thanos getting a hole punched in him by drax. Lets bring up she hulk owning him. Theres so many low showing for thanos but there is no reason to bring them up because we all still know that thanos is powerful as hell.

To me, even though thanos is one of my favs, he get crushed in this fight.

I hate to say it, but i agree with you. Honestly i think thiers a general dragonball discontempt (is that the right word?) which clouds peoples judgement on these forums. It could be the way that the show was set up, which makes it difficult to compare to some comic book characters, but i think if you look at the show logically, and through the implied... power, per say
its not hard to understand why the majority of comic book characters would fall hard to even the weaker DBZ characters.

When you have a character that is moving so fast that his opressers semmingly pass through an inanimate shilouette of him, you can grasp how truely powerful such a "low level" (at the time) being is.

Then again,Thats just my opinion though.

or if you look at things like this and know that no character in dc or marvel has ever fought like this or could ever dream about fighting like this, then it would be common sense to choose who could win.

Goku could have 10 superman standing around him and hit all of them in the back of the head before they blink there eye (and im referring to black hair goku.). If any earth bound dc or marvel character stood in front of goku and showed them their power and what they were going to be using to fight against him, goku would laugh and might wouldnt fight them.

I just dont understand why people vote against them. I love comics a lot and I know more about comics but i also when someone in comics is put in battles that they just dont have a chance against and this fight is one of them.

I read the manga, long ago. I was a fan of DBZ, I am ashamed to say ( 😛 ).

And while I acknowledge their power, they don't have enough CONCRETE feats to pit them against high heralds.

At the end of Z, they can casually destroy a planet (kid buu did....) - that's easily Silver Surfer level energy projection.

BUT - they are levelled by punches that are far below the strength of Superman/Hulk/Surfer level characters.

Their energy durability is good enough to withstand what MUST be planet busting attacks, and yet, their 'physical' durability cannot withstand a few (dozen) punches from someone who is hundreds of times weaker than Superman, Thanos, or et cetera.

They are fast in combat - no doubt - but there is never a determination of said speed. Speed of sound? We don't hear any sonic booms, but I guess we could always chalk that up to comic physics.

Speed of light? PURE conjecture. 😬.

Hell, I don't even remember where it's referenced that Pan flew around the world in two minutes. In fact, the manga I has says "Grandpa! I just travelled the Earth!"

To which he responds "Good! That was pretty fast."

But it makes no mention of 'two minutes.'

So, they have huge energy blasts, and amazing energy durability, but (comparitively) PATHETIC physical attacks and durability, not to mention speed when you compare them to high heralds.

As far as passing through the 'silhouette' of a character - it's not terribly impressive. Black Panther, Cap, and Spiderman have all dodged in a similar manner.

Would I put them on the same speed level? Of course not. But your evidence is lacking.
