I would rank krillin and tien at mid to high heralds. I honestly believe that krillin and tien are stronger by a huge gap in strength, power, and durability over the super saiyan goku that fought frieza and I'm referring to the krillin and tien in the cell saga.
Even though they are heroes and never destroyed a planet, I am pretty sure that during that time they could do it with ease. Another thing that a lot of people need to realize is that dbz don't have a narriator like marvel and dc comics have so the characters themselves are the narriator of the story so we have to take their statements like we would take a statement from a narriator. With that said... I am pretty sure akira didn't have cell saying that he was going to destroy the solar system if cell truly didn't have the power to do so... that would go against dbz entire history... it was a true statement and cell truly did possess this type of power.
Would akira let him use that power... hell no because that would have been the end of dbz... does that make the comment any less true since cell didn't destroy the solar system? No because the z fighters believed him... cell knew his capabilities and the characters in the story was their own narriator which gives credit to the feat.

None... unless you can show me. Every feat that has been stated or shown on dbz has been quoted from a characters mouth. The gravity they trained in... how powerful a person is... how powerful a blast is... who is stronger than who and the list goes on.
If we can't accept cell statement then you might as well say we can't accept anything from dbz since everything was quoted from the mouth.

Completely different... every viliian they ever faced was arrogant and they had the right to be with all the power that they possess but the thing that make it different is you had several people in the audience that have on panel proof of feeling and reading power levels and they believed him

The evidence point to ALL of the Z fighters joining in to aid Gohun at stopping Cell along with a dead Goku and King Ki thinking everything is about to get destroyed. They believed him and there was nothing denying the fact that they didnt believe him.
