He'd be in the upper crust of Low Meta IMO.

Handcock? MH or HH?

0:50 (not sure if that really was Lu Bu, I personally can't remember that) + 0:59

1:50-2:52
He pretty much wrecked 5 or 6 entire armies in his last mission in DW6 (not sure if that can be considered canon)
I don't think that any high street could replicate stuff like that and therefore I'd put him one higher.
Another thing is, I know it's ABC but still, in Intros etc the Warriors run over water and stuff like that and Lu Bu is by far the most feared Warrior in the game.
Just going by that stuff I' put him above the street stuff.
The one at :50 is from Warriors Orochi 2 opening and Lu Bu was nowhere in it. Off the top of my head it included Ginchiyo, Tokugawa's cannon, Huang Zhong using his bow to shoot his cannon spear, possibly Date and Magoichi had something to do with it as well. I know those two shot at Cao Pi so he could deflect the bullets back at Orochi's army.
The whole him taking on everyone in DW6 is in his Gaiden stage and not necessarily canon to the whole game, it's something you get after you beat his mode but regardless, he's a beast among men, but I can't think of anyone in Low Meta that he'd prove a challenge for.
All I saw at 2:21 was him repel a bunch of guys, somewhat impressive but the only thing you could argue is superhuman about Lu Bu is his strength and skill but still I'd respectfully argue against him being a low meta for now.
Now Sengoku Basara characters, now they are incredibly superhuman.

I can see Silver Samurai giving him a hard fight.
I suppose he could be considered Mid Meta (especially if his feats in the cartoon are canon). Still I think in terms of raw power he isn't comparable to a lot of the guys in that tier.

In comics, I don't think of Mace as that much more/less powerful than, say, Psylocke, who would stomp low metas, IMO.

Okay. Omega, Mindset and ScreamPaste will be my lieutenants. What we want to do is go back through the pages and catalog all of the characters that have been mentioned, ie., what tier they were nominated for, how many votes that standing currently has, etc. We'll then compile a list so that future contributors can see where things stand currently, and we can get this conversation back into having concrete and constructive results.
I'll also need you guys to make an effort to keep this thread civil and keep people on topic. This was one of my pet projects (mixed genre in the versus) and now that it's back in good favor I want it to run smoothly.

This thread is for us, as a community, to develop a tier system for the expanded battle options here in the versus forum (until a sub-forum can be created).Similar to the comic book character tier system. This will give us a rough estimation of which characters are "peers" to their "mainstream" comic book counterparts, and will help to determine what constitutes a viable mixed genre match up for this forum.
This will be an open forum, however, please keep this constructive
. We all have opinions and the right to express them, but no unwarranted character bashing, or insulting of one another, will be tolerated. The rules are the same general rules as the comic tier system
Rules:
1. Any changes made, please try to bold them to point them out to others.
2. Alphabetize the list as needed.
3. Discussion should take place before a change, and at least 2-3 others (who are relatively "unbiased" and not huge fans of a particular character) should agree with you before an official change takes place.
4. I can't update the Master List every day. Be patient, and don't whine to me about changes that need edited in.
5. If you can't get support for a proposed change, let it drop once you've made your case.
6. Have fun and enjoy. This list obviously isn't perfect, but it will end up being one of the better indicators of power anywhere by the time it's refined and added to.
