That was one of my favorite episodes. I always wished they'd explored the Douwd race further, particularly whether they had any interactions with the Q Continuum and were on or around the same power level. GT is not canon.
I'm also for dropping Naruto from High Meta
GT is canon, just not canon to the Manga. It's only canon to the cartoon version of Goku. People just like claiming that since Toriyama didn't personally script all the happenings in the DBZ and DBGT episodes that they don't count, but that's not the case.
Toriyama scripted manga is canon to the Manga version of Goku.
Toriyama inspired cartoon adaptation version of Goku as depicted in Dragonball through Dragonball GT is a different character and the whole of it (DB to DBGT) is canon to that specific adaptation.
They're mutually exclusive but people like to mix them up in debates to hamstring their opposition. Particularly when arguing Goku vs. a comic character.
I guess we'll need to distinguish which version of a character we're placing as well for clarity.

I'll post some clips when I get home from work. Behind a firewall here. But basically Voltron slays some pretty high end Robeasts on a regular basis, and it could be argued that these Robeasts are at least Mid to High Herald tier (planetary threats). There's no matter manipulation or anything like that, but Voltron is exponentially more powerful than, say, Ironman.
While were on the subject of character versions, can I make a suggestion regarding Link?
Link is many different people, but you've put them all under one name on the list in the same tier. I suggest we split them up into thier individual selves.

If you make a match using Goku specify which version. You can say, for example:
Goku (Manga) Vs.
or
Goku (Cartoon) Vs.
Goku (Manga) is the Toriyama version from the comic.
Goku (Cartoon) is the version of Goku as depicted in the televised cartoon series from DragonBall through DragonBall GT, which is "inspired" by the Manga version but is a different adaptation.
