If I remember correctly, it's because whatever Abraxas did in 616, mirrored itself among the realities as a sort of domino effect. Erasing Abraxas simply restored everything back.

I'd trust Mr. M to have some input on this.

You are correct. It was the death of Galactus of Earth 616 that freed Abraxas , as the scan obviously states . Once Reed remade the 616 Universe , without Galactus dying , Abraxas was never freed thus everything was restored . It's not that hard to understand .

I know. I never said you were wrong. 🙂

edit

Unless you think COIE can beat IG with TOAA

COIE is more impressive if you have knowledge of the characters . It's harder to get into DC by reading COIE because there are numerous characters participating and it's getting confusing at some point as to who's this and what's he doing here .

COIE was more impressive overall then the IG arc imo, as well...

But at the same time, it's a very confusing and horribly inconsistent read, especially if you're not into DC imo.

That's why I hate arguing COIE in these threads. [But I DO very much enjoy reading it lol]

Which makes me wonder...when Thanos turned off all sensory input from the gauntlet, he was sucker-punched and caught by attacks quite a few times.

I wonder what would have happened if Thanos would have gotten blasted the the UN off guard then.

It's on panel right there...all he cut off was sensory input.

He retained his "limitless" power.

thanos gave the heroes a chance. plain and simple he killed thor anways.

I know that AM went thorugh a lot. I read the book. The bulk of it was pretty boring. COIE is not as impressive as IG imo.

IG was probably a much more fun read. Let's see how many ways we can find to kill off our favorite hero's!

COIE was more of a master plan to lay a groundwork for not just the future of a comic book multiverse, but the financial health of a real world organization. It's more of an almanac/blueprint of what was to come.

wonder not. know this thanos weakened himself just to give the heroes a chance and stil won in resounding fashion. it was quite the show. thanos destroeyed every hero who stood in his way. he then defeated all the abstracts at once.

show me am doing anything like this. anything. supergirl gave him a challenge which is pathetic.

Never said he didn't.

Just to show that low points are had by any "god" in any story.

Thanos was no exception.

Discounting TOAA/Presence/LT/Spectre.

I'd go with COIE.

why. how.

tell me who is taking out thanos in particluar let alone all the abstracts and what not. lets just focus on thanos with the ig. who is beating him?

I couldn't agree more. 👆

I refuse to debate anything Thanos-related with you. 🙂

Thanos was no exception.

but it explained the lower points. he gave them a chance. he purposfully allowed them a chance of victory. thats the only reason it appeared as if they had a chance. thanos crushed the competition even so. pretty amazing while am was killed by a superman punch. how funny is that. am was getting weaker and weaker while u couldnt weaken thanos. it just couldnt happen.

becuz u have no basis for an argument and favor dc with no real core of an argument. u simply say i say coie but when someone asks you why u say nothing.

at least retort.

Sure, at the end of everything...not much different than Thanos being trampled by Drax and Hulk at the end of IG.

Then smacked away by Thor.

There is a reason I'm not too fond of these "supreme power" type stories.

They all (Thanos included) lose in stupid ways...for all their "infinite" power and "infinite" wisdom.

The only time that I've seen a "godlike" being not lose in a stupid way was the original Ion.
