Why bring in someone so powerful if you just gonna killing him using a weapon. FYI, he is below LT so most likely he can be killed.
He was severely weakened. To make an appearance... 😐
They why bring him in just to make him weaker.
That's the same line as: Why have Spectre appear if he doesn't solve anything?
Actually, Spectre does solve big problems.
How? And what does it matter? You're bringing in irrelevant plots in comics to try and say they lose a battle. The plot devices have absolutely no relevance here.
Yeah the plot has something do to with it. If you put a powerful being who is soo powerful against puny human heroes, then they have no chance to win against this "being", so the plot has to come in and defeat this being in a stupid way.
By not killing himself...
You are avoiding the problem. He has the power of god, but he killed himself!??? He was smart enough to use such power and not let his brain on fire, but he can't figure out how not to kill himself.
So explain what you meant by it, because it was confusing as hell.
Sure, Marvel makes many powerful opponents against earth. Characters like Galactus, Abraxas. Thanos with IG, HOTU, and a few other things. Then they like to make them lose because of the "plot". Now that wouldn't be a problem IF they didn't make the opponent who have this enormous power lose in the most profound way.
In addition, they kept making more and more powerful character that overlap the previous. They had characters like MM, and Beyonder who were so powerful, who overlaped the previous character. This kept going on and on, then with IG that was so powerful, but LT came and became more powerful. SO what did marvel do? they created HOTU. Same thing with UN
