In September 2007, the Montreal Gazette reported that Dragon Ball Z would be filmed in Montreal in the coming year with a budget of over $100 million, but the studio informed IGN that the report was not confirmed as start dates and locations for the project had not been finalized

Ya, know, I'm glad a DBZ movie is being made, but having those to guys as Goku and Piccolo makes me wanna puke.
The Z warriors should be played by someone asian or at least half asian.
Jet Li'd be a perfect Vegeta except he can't speak as theatrically as Vegeta can.
They should make it completely CGI BeoWulf style. That would make it legendary.
I don't think The Z universe would look good in the real world. Too cartoony and colorful. That guy that played Bruce Lee in "Dragon" would make a good Yamcha or Goku or grown Gohan if he bulked up a bit.

Completely agree. Even though I like James Masters, he aint the right choice. Then again with the right make up who knows. A live action movie wont do the franchise any justice!

they all seemed mediocre to me, but the first one was pretty funny, i just hope DBZ turns out good, i forget the timeline where Vegeta came into the story though but it would be cool for the movie to be like.
1st movie: vs Piccolo
2nd movie: vs Freeza
3rd movie: vs Majin Buu
but yeah, Beowulf style DBZ would probably do more justice, but im still really interested in this movie, maybe they'll make a Gundam Wing...
anyways, based on their current casting of Goku and Piccolo, who do you think they would cast for Vegeta and the rest of the gang

if i were to be as nitpicky and close minded as some of the hardcore fans i would say jackman is too tall. I dont even know who to cast myself lol i always thought Goku was asian but it doesnt matter, they could pull off the cast with unknowns for Krillin, Yamcha and three eyed guy
