Why do some enjoy seeing others down/fall?

Why is it that some folks praise a person up and up and up, just to ENJOY mocking that person and seeing them at a degraded or fallen state? How bi-polar of us. It makes a person wonder if it was worth being up there in the hearts/mind of men in the first place.

I know in another forum, it was stated that our genes are much more advanced then technology and our technology is much more advanced then our social-awareness/maturity...

Why is that? Why do some enjoy negativity (and I mean RELISHING in it), and treat strangers so badly, and they know full well they wouldn't want this same treatment themselves? (do to others what you would want done to you). They know they wouldn't want to be in a degraded state for others to laugh about.

Remember the (Greek) fable/story of Jealousy and Envy (I can recite it the best I can right now):

Both jealous and envy were walking down the street, enjoying their day together.

They were walking together when a Genie walked up to them and offered a wish. He stated: "Here is a worm hole to another life, the first one who walks thru it gets everything he ever wishes while he walks thru, however, whatever he wishes for himself, I will grant double for the one that walks after him"

Both Jealousy and Envy look at themselves and wonder, which should go first. Jealousy felt he should go first but then wondered about missing a double porition. Jealousy asks Envy to go first. Envy is reluctant but decides to go in. So, Envy walks in and is about to make a wish, but remembers that Jealousy will end up with double. Envy makes his wish and Jealousy quickly follows afterward. As Jealousy walks thru, he realizes he is blind. Envy was so upset that Jealousy would end up with two portions of his wish, that he plucked out one eye, leaving Jealousy with both gone. Jealousy is blinded by Envy. (I'm not catholic, but envy is one of the 7 deadly sins, I wonder why).

You should quit message boards and start writing Young Adult novels, particularly ones aimed at 12-year-old girls. "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen II" could be your biggest triumph.

try going into cultures that love to see others in a degarded state, and mock gifts as crazy/stupid, believe that jealous/envy is a right to express and ACT on violating that person's liberty, just go visit areas where this is common, and you don't need to say it online, just ask yourself if you see the majority in poverty or in an impoverished state (mind, income, and/or health)

under the feet, why "under"? so they can have a better look at what they want in subjection, dirting it (bad reputation, label as crazy, weirdo, stupid, loo-loo lune-tune), and also, hiding it from the world, keeping it from applying its goodness, why praytell? so that they can congrad themselves for putting someone else under, esp. someone who possessed a "gift".

If you use your gift to solve a crime, you may attrack a bad crowd with power/connections to make your reputation as CRAZY/unbalanced/weirdo so that when you do use the gift, no one will trust you or believe you, all they have to do is bother your life (give false singals of fear/danger that you, as an empath, pick up on very strongly, couple that with the label "crazy"😉 so that it appears like you are CRYING WOLF, and when your life is really in danger???

No, I don't think so, they would hate it. From what I've read, empaths FEEL, and that's all...They feel more intensely than others do. They have this ability to feel others feelings around them. Though it's just not sadness, but anger, and other emotions. But they cannot predict or help in crimes.

They can only more intensely feel emotions.

[edit] I correct myself on another thread where I said, empaths can only feel sadness. They can pick up all feelings. But they are not psychic.

ops, i didn't mean to state that an empath is a psychic, but there are those who are both, empaths+psychic. but with signal processing tech, with group mind games, etc. a person can end up with energies/signals that are tricks.

again, with any gift/talent/skill, it's always in the application, how it's being used, to destroy or build? if it's used to destroy a lot of people, why be shocked when you see the state of human condition? if it's used for the positive, why be jealous of another group that knows how to properly apply a gift/skill/talent into construction?(with mutual agreement, in which both parties prosper). Again, not slavery, but mutual agreement.

think of my job situation as a cohersed resignation...
