Why do some enjoy seeing others down/fall?

i've stopped reading all comments.

the thing with speaking your mind is this. once certain people find out what you are thinking, esp. if it's a distain for one thing or a love for another, you're life will start becoming an "example" for the opposite of what you like/dislike, you'll notice that if you stated you dislike gays (it's your right to like them or not to like them), you may ironically find your college roommate is gay, or the person you love, ect. If you don't really like a particular minorty culture/group Z or Y, that ironically, you are put in a situation that you have to deal with a person who is group Z or Y or that minority culture or whatever group you stated that you disliked.

What am I getting at? Don't talk too much about what you like or dislike, esp. groups or religion, or sexuality. If you are a parent who stated you dislike blacks, all of the sudden, your child will end up dating one, same with gay. If you are a parent who ever stated anything that can be repeated to the "wrong" person, it'll come back to bite you, meaning, your words weren't free, they came with a penalty, all while, we THINK it's free. And that analogy about the klan kid, again, wasn't to state that I want to join the klan, it was to state that I can care less if he dislikes my color, if he doesn't bother me, then I can respect him for leaving me alone, and what I mean by leaving me alone is NOT touching my life or controlling my life or hurting my income or job, etc. If he just talks, what do I care if he doesn't like blacks/etc, as long as he doesn't bother me. as much as rappers talk about their opinions on females, what do i care, unless someone is FORCING me to respect all black males, all awhile, they are enjoying a music played before the entire world to hear, about how black women and all women are whores, bitches, etc. And they may not like black females, why would I care, why do I care, their opinion isn't my life. Why would a black man care about what I think of black men (esp. if I don't hurt their life)? Unless he's not a man. Who's master? Who's slave?

Freedom of speech, only talk among a few trusted friends.

Why would a black man care about what I think of black men (esp. if I don't hurt their life) and try to hurt my life as a result? Unless he's not a man. Who's master? Who's slave? If he's captain of his own ship, why would he even care what I THINK of him or the man on the moon. Why would he need me to validate his existance if he's a well-esteemed man?

I have plenty of heroes, they don't need my affirmation to exist and be happy.

To cause someone harm or reduce their livelihood just so that they can now look up to you??? just b/c of what they think or spoke about CULTURE, that doesn't show power in a good way, it demonstrates oppression, and yeah, this time it's blacks doing it, and they know it.

Yet, this person decided to state that "she hates all black men", even if I did, which I don't, but if I did, things would've turn out very badly for any arbitrary black male that crossed my path by now, so apparently, I don't, and if a person talks about hating a culture, that's their opinion.

People like you Braddock do not understand Freedom. And no, I won't be reading your responses again, you're not worth it. If I don't want to be black, that's not up to men who enjoy spreading *****, whore, etc. to the entire world for 20 years, most of my lifetime.

Rapers have and probably still do talk about black females and ALL females (including white females) like they are all sluts, whores, stupid, not worth anything. i wonder, i think the video clip talks about orwell's background, being raised in India, i wonder if he knew any mystical aspects of big brother or the thought police, i doubt he would have known signal processing and how that would tie into the technological aspect of it all...

ironic he's raised in india, and i wonder what he thought about the restriction on arranged marriages and the caste system of control....funny how he came from that culture and influenced the western thought about the future, not sure if his comments were what shaped the future b/c it was in the minds of those who read it, or if he was truly gifted/insightful person.

enjoy the clip, i don't agree with some aspects of it, but at least, if you are interested, start at 15.50 instead of 15.00.

Why is that? Why do some enjoy negativity (and I mean RELISHING in it), and treat strangers so badly, and they know full well they wouldn't want this same treatment themselves? (do to others what you would want done to you). They know they wouldn't want to be in a degraded state for others to laugh about.

Remember the (Greek) fable/story of Jealousy and Envy (I can recite it the best I can right now):

Both jealous and envy were walking down the street, enjoying their day together.

i should add that after a quick glance at both Rand and Orwell, I would think that Rand was about the individual's mind, inner mind/life and branching outward....Orwell's novel seems to cover the outer (gov't, political system) branching into a person's life, the outer effecting the inner mind/life.

They may have had the same issues, or battling similar issues

Rand sought the inner mind/life/world to effect the outside world, and Orwell sought the outer system and how that effects the inner world/mind/life, although they may have been buring both ends of the candle stick (working for the same cause(s)).

If we are discussing the same thing, but, I tell you that what I see (in conclusion) is a dot, and you tell me that what you see is a line, who is wrong? Well, probably both of us, if we are only interpreting each other's conclusion with respect to our own angle. So, if you (the empath, the one willing to bend your point of view) rotate the line (-) 90 deg, facing you, it will appear as a dot (.). But, you may still enjoy the line-.

Interpretation, law, objectives, conclusions...lines and dots.
