Slade doesn't keep up with the Flash because his creator said so, or even because the guy who made the Teen Titans what they are today and namely wally who he is said so. Slade keeps up with the Flash because that is what he has been doing from day one.
Slade used the same trick on Wally during Identity Crisis, that Double Down suses on wally al the time, throw so much stuff at him that he has to slow down to avoid them all then tag him.
Slade can't keep up with him in some sort of running mathc but that first step if both of the are standing still he can. Didn't you see him jump abotu twenty feet twoards Zatana before she could say "eezerF"?

Wolverine is not SuperBOY.
Wolverine has an indestructible skeleton and a healing factor.
Grenade is not good against Wolverine since it scatters shrapnel in all directions instead of concentrating the attack on one opponent... better for weak crowds.
