Kid Flash sneak blitzes Slade from behind it seems. It works at first, but Slade says "You're fast...so am I" and was quick enough to dodge and counter the blitz, k.oing kid Flash.
In his own series he also used his staff to kneecap Flash.. Around the JLA vs Deathstroke issue, but right before he took on Aquaman and GL.
Again he took down Flash a few times in Titans crossovers.
Then again in Identity Crisis.
Slade is badder than many given him credit for, especially when he's proven time and time again.

It was a matter of proving that he's done the combat speed feat over and over and over again, and is a part of his character. He's faster, stronger smarter and generally better than Wolverine in every way except the bones. Wolverine's only advantage.

Wolverine fought Gladiator for 6 days in a alternet universe. When 616 fought Glads both him and Beast where beaten in a few seconds.

Every showing DS has where he can lick the bottom of anyone of those guys boots his a SM v Fl and so full of PIS and CIS its ridicules. You DS fanboys are astounding! He has half a dozen feats so ridiculous out of character and far beyond what his is capable of... yet for some reason thats what you think he can do? That Identity Crisis feat is prehaps the single highest example of PIS/CIS ever... heck that one issue has more then most other comics do put together. Never mind the fact that he goes blow for blow with Batman and leaves the fight hurting, never mind that Robin has tagged him, never mind Nightwing has managed to beat on him for more then a page with out getting hit, never mind he was stalemated by Azrael, never mind he couldn't take down Eddi Fryers, never mind he has been beaten by Bronze Tiger, never mind he has been taken down by Deadshot...twice... yeah he's a match for anyone JLA 🙄 .

Not in a million years. The Flash's reflexes and perception are both above light speed, to think someone who is at best on Spider-man speed level could hit him is absurd. In the Flash's eyes everying thing DS does would take years from to point he started to the point it ended. So much PIS in DS hitting Flash the universe could implode.
