Another thing i was wondering do you think they will resolve the whole Nikki/Jessica thing or are we meant to assume from episode 20 that Nikki wins out in the end. I mean they only have three episodes left and central characters are now taking the stage plus Nikki has been dormant for a while now.
They should just kill her off, she's boring.

I don't think that the point of Heroes is the fighting so far, in all honesty. 'Oh noes, Peter vs. Sylar suxx0rz!' Oh well, that's not what I'm basing my like of the show off of, so it slightly annoys me when people gripe because Peter had his back turned or Hiro returned to the past just as the fight started...
As for Niki/Jessica, InnerRise is right, Niki has split personality disorder, and so far she can only use her strength when Jessica is present. I assuming that over five years she could easily suppress her other half and unlock her powers.
On the Peter-fighting-issue, I would like to offer my two cents: Based on what we've seen, Sylar is simply - by far - the smarter fighter. Peter fans need to understand that, for all his power, he's a complete dumbass at times, as opposed to Sylar, who's as clever and as manipulative as they come. Sylar's also, obviously, got much more control over his powers than Peter.
I've been thinking about the future they saw and everything can add up but this one thing. Why in future Hiro's past did Sylar heal?
Everything else can be explained by the fact that it wasn't actually Sylar but Peter that blew up. And Claire was hidden away by Bennet and Peter's family. But if all this changed in the time line then why didn't Hiro's past of Sylar healing form is stab not change with it?
Also if Peter and Hiro are even kinda close in this future you'd think at some point Peter would've fessed up about it being really him and not Sylar that went nuclear.
As for Peter not being the fighter that Sylar is your all missing a point to all that. Peter has to learn how to use his powers and for that matter what powers he's even got. Where as Sylar's real power is seeing how things work and fixing them. See he can just rip your head open and see what you can do and how. Peter on the other hand has no idea what someone else can do. Much less how they do it. So he has to figure out what he's capable of and how he can do it.
For instance he may very well have all of Sylar's powers but how would he have any idea what all of his powers even are? Hell, we watch the show and even we don't know for sure what all he can do. He should even have Sylar's ability to see how things work and be able to use it to even better himself but how would he have any idea he has it?
Another thing I'm still not convinced of is weather or not someone has to demonstrate their power for Peter to copy it. I mean other than Issac, every power he's copied has been demonstrated near him. And who knows what he saw Issac do or try to do. As messed up on heroin as he was his powers could've been doing anything and acting weird to us.
Peter's power may be allot better to have but it would be allot harder to understand and control than Sylar's. IMO
What does everyone think Mama Petrelli's powers are? I kind of think she has some sort of prescience or something. After all, she sure seems to know a lot. Wait, time out, a thought just hit me as I said that: you remember in the beginning of the show, Peter was having those prophetic-like dreams? Well, now that we know Peter can absorb and mimic other people's powers, perhaps that power was his mothers or something?

Originally posted by Darth ViciousHm, teleportation. I don't know how I feel about that from a character perspective. I think that would be a great power for the "Big Bad" of next season to have. To me, Mama Petrelli is a socialite, and she should have an "aristocratic-like" power, ie: healing, premonitions, eidetic memory, etc. Her having an active power seems out of character in my opinion.
I read somewhere that her powers was very similar to one of the "Heroes" but that she had more control over them. Maybe her power is teleportation.

Would you like to tell someone you're responsible for millions of deaths? And the explosion did kill Ando, Hiro's closest friend.
Originally posted by The PictTrue but Peter just doesn't seem the type of person to be able to keep something like that to himself for 5 years! Especially not from Hiro with how much he looks up to Peter and how close he was to Ando.

I can't see Peter not fessing up.😕
srug He didn't tell Nikki, and from what we saw they were in love.
Plus saying "Peter doesn't seem the type" doesn't mean anything as he led others in a "war" against the government. He's obviously changed in 5 years.

Oh well I was just saying that paticular part of the story seemed outta character but they need an excuse for things to be the way they were. Like with Sylar still healing in future Hiro's past thou Claire was still alive.

Anyways check out this video I just spotted on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtzB1lsljtI
I think its a very good veiw of who Peter is. I was gonna add it to my myspace but the embeded code was disabled. 🙁

Rather they just claim to and we want to believe people change when really they never do. People only sometimes appear to be different because it suits their desires at the time, but thats another topic all together.
It was five years, though, so people do change in that span of time.
So, I'll just let it go. Its just an episode anyways it doesn't have to be perfect.
Like how no one has even tried to explain how Sylar healed from Hiro's stabbing when Claire is alive and well? 😕

He was stabbed? I thought that was just Isaac's comic showing how he was to be killed, not how he did. Remember he said to Sylar he knew he was going to die but not before he'd shown "them" how to kill him?
Or am I talking about something else?
