i had a bit of help. there's a webcomic called Ansem Retort, and they feature mainly KH characters, but I happened to find one similar to Selphie, only the colours were different and it had a highly detailed background. so I took out the background and then changed the colour pattern so that it looked like Selphie, though she favours her KH self moreso than her FF8 self... which was unfortunate...
